no.Belgian doctors,French doctors saw new wasting syndrome in central Africa back in 1970s.however this new immune suppression cases didnt well noticed to Western doctors. in Germany,and USA less than 5 patients already dead in 1979.but because USA have one of the best medical dectection system of the world,every doctors in the all world knew this new disease.
