  • Professional wake skaters Brian Grubb and Zuzana Vráblová explore the visually stunning blue lagoons of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, in Brazil.
Watch the duo riding the beautiful white sands and opal waters.
The 155,000-hectare park features 43 miles (70 kilometers) of coastline, and an interior composed of rolling sand dunes.
During the rainy season, the valleys among the dunes fill with freshwater lagoons, prevented from draining due to the impermeable rock beneath.
The park is home to a range of species, including four listed as endangered, and has become a popular destination for ecotourists.
The Lençóis Maranhenses National Park has been protected since June 2, 1981.
