    3:17: Holy pumped! lifting heavy, and looking heavy! hehe ^^
    Hey Alex, I'm really curious what's considered good for pure wrist pronation training with the belt running through your palm to between the knuckle and finger, with just lifting plates. I can currently do 12 reps of 20kg, with my arm at about 75 degrees (simulating armwrestling). I don't know if that angle is considered easier or harder as I can do about the same from resting my wrist on my knee. Well, it certainly feels harder on the wrist from the knee... I'm aiming for 30kg and 12 reps ^^
    Well, I should just continue aiming higher! but I'm still curious!
    Edit: gotta tell you: it feels amazing to have gone from nothing at 20kg a few weeks back to an easy 12 reps, though ^^

    • @2DReanimation
      @2DReanimation 6 років тому

      Thanks Alex (sempai, lol)! That's motivating! I was about 69-70 when I started (a few weeks ago). Last year, when I was strength-training, I got between 76-78. So that's probably the class I'd be competing in if it comes to that. But here in Sweden armwrestling clubs are far and few between. Perhaps I should just go to my nearest city and set up an armwrestling table like you guys. But I've gotta have a keg of beer with me to not wuss out, lol.

    • @2DReanimation
      @2DReanimation 6 років тому

      I can't say it's sad, it's quite motivating :)
      I'll crash a few clubs in the future! ^^
      With a keg of beer of course! can't just crash it without anyway for my opponents to spill their sorrows ^^
      Thanks, and great job for being so communicative on here! I will be looking forward to your new stuff! and to armwrestle you, of course XD
      Edit: if I had the dollar, I'd come right over with a keg of beer, lol!
      Edit2: Oh! I see a great misunderstanding! (keg of beer = loss of the opponent). No! that's definitely not what I meant! I would like you to totally destroy me! Haha! my god, you really say the stupidest of things with a keg of beer in your stomach... lol...
      Edit3: By the way: tell your brother a random guy on YT told him that he's got skinny arms XD

      Idk, but you could always wrap some foam/cloth around a regular dumbbell handle. Old-school is to use towels to lift plates or the whole dumbbell or whatever, for pronation training.
      As Alex said in another reply, it challenges the fingers. As it's important to hold your opponent, without the fingers giving.

    No grip for second hand (like by the table) = bad for the back.

    How many of these experienced arm wrestlers have issues with their joints in their elbows and hands. I can easily see early onset arthritis being an issue.

      In actual matches is where any injuries are going to happen. Working out keeps your stuff healthy as long as you iron out imbalances and know what you're doing. Olympic weight lifters probably don't get much back pain, yet so many exercises they do stresses the lower back.
      Would you rather be weak, and usually in pain from something (whether it be sciatica, tennis elbow etc) or be strong with the potential of being actually rather pain free?
