I'm always amazed at how these young kids can fish, cook, clean and take care of themselves all by the age of 9 or 10. Kids in the US aren't even this prepared by 18. #facts

Many moons ago being a Uncle Sams bastard child, I was deployed in the Pacific. One late night, around 3 am or so, I was on a patrol, alone. As I was making a perimeter check, I noticed birds flopping around in the branches in the jungle. Well well well - a light bulb went through my head. It got to be fruits, edible fruits at least.
I fill up my cammies pockets to max and get back to HQ. I offer the other bastard children but they refuse. Throughout the night, I keep chewing on until around 0900 for debrief - out of formation-- I keep chewing on. The other ones look at me, all starving and says, "damn it, you aint dead yet, give me that shit" and proceeds to raid my pockets. It was a Guavo - native to SE Asia.
In Asian markets, they are about $5 dollars or so per pound.

Reminds me of myself and my brother about 45 years ago I was 10 brother close to 8 we wanted too fish but had no money so Dad made our poles from small green branches the line was I believe heavy sewing thread the bobber a empty thread spool the sinker was a small steel nut we were lucky too have real hooks the bait was corn/small breadballs and off we went , there were two other kids with fancy poles and with flies/lures that were laughing at us making insults but my brother and I did catch a fish while the other kids had no luck and BOY they got mad but me & bro were thrilled with the catch we had although they were only about 4 inches but we run run home with our fish and told Mom & Dad all about it.

I'm amazed at the method, but not as much as how organized and skilled this young boy is.
I think for his age this child is just brilliant, the motivation to try whats best and not whats easy and to brave life is whats missing with the younger generation. I think encouragement and guidance will take motivated children a long way to self success.

All that is staged my friend , please don't believe things that you see in you tube or at least not those videos of kids being filmed by someone who is profiting from him , normally his parents, if this can be called a good video of something could be how to exploit a kid .
If you still don't want to accept what I'm telling you it means you know nothing about fishing and what is worst you know nothing about how smart people use their intelligence to scam others that are a little slow than them , those fishes are carps , they afre powerful , that means the moment they feel hooked to something they swim fast to avoid being captured they are strong too , that means those bottles unattended would be deep in the pond full of water after the fish got away with it, second any kid who learn to fish from someone the first rule is never let your fishing line unattended, a wild fish of that size take away with him a the fishing rod easily .
I can be here all day pointing you all the things that scream in your face that the video is fake , is a staged action of a kid doing something to gain views.
I don't do this because of hate or because I think I'm better than you if not trying to telling you that you better wake up and start to see reality with all your senses , if not you can be easily scammed for someone who is not as good as you are , I'm sure you are a good person with a good heart but remember not everybody is like you .

In Nepal it is very common to see children his age cooking up full meals outside. They are like adult chefs All the f oood is fresh as most don't have fridges.
Children can be very capable when they are focused on learning certain tasks and given the opportunity to do it themselves.

The majority of kids in the US are hooked on social media and their parents allow their brains to turn to mush by being on their phones 24/7.
At 9 years old myself and the neighborhood kids built our own tree houses without the help of an adult.
My kids only get one hour of screen time per day. They all have to find constructive things to do that doesn't involve a screen. I teach them how to hunt, fish, gardening and build stuff. Technology is good but not 24/7.

100 per cent, depends on how they're brought up,,,,any kid in rural U.S., today, could fish, or out fish, this kid,,,depends on if the kid loves, and WANTS to fish,,,,has a nack for it,,, and is taught well,,,this kid obviously has been well exposed, and taught, and LIKES it,,,and desires to excel,,,,its FUN for him, otherwise he wouldn't do it,,,,,but my main point is,,,plenty of kids in America, his age totally exist. and are as good as he,,,not all kids are zipper headed dweebs, tho it seems it's the trend, but tons of rural US kids that have been brought up with it,,are as good,,,fishing, is the number 1 sport in the world by far,,,google it,,,,were not as far gone, as the media would have us believe,,,,good ol smalltown USA!!!!!!! 😎

@@izatrini439 absolutely Iza,,,Wisconsin is a fishing paradise, I'm here in Mass., and fresh and salt water fishing, is OFF THE CHARTS!, our DFW puts on fishing seminars, for young kids, and they fill up in minutes,,,also, I'm a member of 2 sportsmen's clubs, my whole life, and we put fishing days, on our heavily stocked, club ponds, for the boy scouts,, and even let em camp out on the ponds,,,they fill up so fast, so,,,young kids, like this little man, in the vid, are everywhere here,,,,,Basspro, Cabelas, and Walmart, have bright futures, in the fishing depts,,,,,,TIGHT LINES!!!😎

In America, we will complain about setting it up. We leave for 3 hours to play video games or doodle on our phones. Come back and there is fish. Our problem is that while we are on our devices, we would forget we were supposed to catch fish.
