    This short tutorial will teach you how to do a kipup / kick up / kick-up. If you ever fall down or fail a stunt, this is the proper way to recover / get back up in style. People won't even remember that you fell down. They'll just be astonished by your skills. Crazy, right?

      +Christopher Tung, I can do a dynamic bridge all day long but when it goes to going 100% I just don't understand how come I keep falling. Are you supposed to kick your legs out then bring feet down or are you supposed to fly your legs up then it automatically goes down?

      yeah sometimes I listen to his voice and I just think man it's so silky smooth, I wonder material his vocal cords are made of.
      I'm actually not here to learn tricks at all. I just go through a daily morning ritual of watching every single one of Chris's videos just so I can soak in another few hours of his soothing vocal patterns

    This is actually one of the only flipping style moves i was planning on learning. Super awesome video man, never knew you had to kick up instead of foreward. I think its great that you´re making videos regularly again. Please keep going!

    Thanks for the great video! I've been doing this on tramp and you made realize I was doing a more forward than up kick cuz I never watched a tutorial and was serious about the trick.

    i learned this move about 3 and a half years ago
    it was tough, i tried constantly for around a week , a week of landing on my back all the time xD
    but then i got it right and never had issues with it again.

      Anthony Abelardo I don't know how to explain properly, but here's a tip, when you're going to kick up, kick really up, towards the sky, it has to be 90º angle on the floor.
      Watch Ryan Doyle's tutorial, he explains in details how to do the Kip up

    I'm too scared to do the kick up bridge thing. I can do a (I call them backbends) I have carpet but it's hard. Most of my grass is hard. What should I do?

      WeekendWonders I usually put a pair of socks or something soft on my tail bone do I don't hurt it but like two days ago I tried to do a kip up from another video and I fell on my back so many times that I think I will never be scared to do a flip or a kip up...

    I can do all the drills and I can do it correct, but for some reason I can't get up after my feet land! Every time I kick upwards and arch my back ,but when my feet land my backs flops on the ground and I can't get up from sitting. even just rolling back and trying to stand up from there is impossible for me. Plz if anyone could help me fix this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

    I can do the drills, and I have good back flexibility. But I cant seem to land on my feet when I get up. Am I not pushing off my arms enough? Any tips are appreciated!

      It's hard to tell without a video, but it could be your arms or even your head placement! Once you are about to land the move, try snapping your head forward to look for the ground. Good luck!

      Christopher Tung thank you so much for the tips! I tried snapping my neck forward and it was weird at first but I got much closer. Sometimes I can land on my feet now! I am going to work on my arm strength to hopefully get a better pop.

      try keeping your chin on your chest the whole time, if your head is pointed forward your body will follow, you can see in this video that he's holding his chin steady on the chest the whole time :)

    I was doing this on my kitchen floor since my carpet was too soft
    And I couldn't get a good push with my arms.
    But my arms slipped while practising the bridge.

      I think you kicked up at the wrong timing as you rolled back. If you roll back and kick at wrong timing your body goes backwards
