I don't know anything about arduino. Now I have been given this topic as my project work. Is this possible to do with a beginner's arduino kit? From where can I buy it?
where the object hold on from in front of sensor. calculating still working and never stop 😑. Hcsr04/ ultrasonic sensor is not recomended for counter project. you should use Laser and LDR( sensor Light ) for best result.

You can use two ultrasonic sensor for counting
I make counter with only one ultrasonic also
