Absolutely one of the best tutorials I've seen for any cad software. Every step covered with no presumption that the user was already familiar with the software. I learned in 12 minutes exactly what I needed to know after spending several hours playing with the software and watching several other tutorials on Freecad, including one on how to "create a sheet metal part." That other sheet metal tutorial assumed the user already knew how to use Freecad and was hard to follow because the instructor didn't describe the icons and skpped a few steps.
What a great intro, thank you so much for this. I've been hunting around for a decent step by step video to just grasp some of the basic principles, and this really is a great starting point. Looking forward to reviewing more of your tutorials.
Your tutorials are magnetizing and excellent. Thank you very much! Would you be prepared to present a tutorial on designing a simple cabinet out of wood with a door and a drawer?
Useful workbench, when it works. Seems buggy though. I am using 0.21.2 and when creating a (square) U-shape, and try to bend one arm of the U everything is fine. Turning that bend to "Material inside", the bend jumps to the other arm of the U and messes everything up. Only works if the U has two arms of different length, which is not very useful for applications.
I've had absolutely no problem getting FreeCAD Sheet Metal Workbench to work. As time permits I'll try and recreate your issue. Thanks for the feedback.
Perfect tutorial. Too many instruction videos declaring to be for beginners go too fast and skip steps. Some will even wave the cursor around the screen making it difficult to follow even when using pause and go.

Love the low voice and pace of your step by step tutorials

Sheet metal wb is a very powerful tool within FreeCAD.
Thank you for the video always useful for newcomers on the platform. Cheers from Portugal
Thank you. Excellent presentation.
Can that model then be converted to the flat development of it? Thus giving the cut dimensions of the blank. TIA.

Thank you very much - your presentation is excellent. Do you have any more tutorials?
