Diving the Sherman Civil War Wreck

The Sherman was originally a British Blockade Runner, named the HMS Princess Royal. It was captured off Charleston, South Carolina and converted into a Federal Gun Boat. It was built during the time when sail and steam engines were combined, because steam engines were still very new and not considered trustworthy. It was lost at sea in 1874 while being towed out of the harbor. Dive the Wreck just off the coast of Myrtle Beach, S.C. with Coastal Scuba.

Not a surprise, that the camera lens got a little better view of the wreck than our eyes, but it was fun.
