Hey sweety, love your video, but I just wanted to help you out a lil bit. For on the scalp bleach applications you NEVER use more than a 20 volume developer no matter how dark your hair is to begin with. As a licensed hairstylist we almost never use a 40 volume becuz it's so damaging to the hair but also possibly the hair follicles also. So next time for on the scalp bleaching please try a 20 volume, cover it with a clear plastic shower cap and hit it with a blow dryer for 10 to 15 minutes. I promise you that you will get the same results but you won't burn your scalp, you'll prevent unnecessary damage and possible hair loss. Also if you put raw coconut oil in your hair the night b4 ,& sleep in it then wash it out lightly that helps prevent a lot of damage too. Good luck pretty lady

This is probably the best tutorial. I recently cut my hair off and I’m trying to bleach it..but I’ve only seen tutorials of girls bleaching their hair with 40 volume for 2 hours!!! This is a reasonable tutorial that I don’t feel is gunna make my hair fall out. Also are you from Baltimore?? You have a very Baltimore accent.

Yes toner definitely works. I used that toner all the time if my hair came out brassy or too yellow. It cancels it all the way out. Sometimes you should still use it even if you are dying your hair another color bc you don’t want it to taint the final color u are putting in ur hair. But if you find a way to do it that works, got for it!

I completely understand your fear, I felt the same way. I looked at other peoples videos who had the same length hair as me and gauged the timing based on their recommendations. I always kept an eye on my hair to ensure it wasn't over processing or falling out. If you don't feel comfortable I would recommend going to a hair stylist which is what I did for my first bleaching because you don't want to mistakingly damage your hair.
