I got goosebumps when Rayhan said "farewell, Roshan bint-La'Ahad". She's Altaïr's ancestor! Now it makes sense why the surname, which means son/daughter of no one despite Altaïr having parents: Roshan's first kill was his father, whom he hated, and she previously said to Basim that she was now daughter of no one. Well, now we know where Altaïr's stoicism and extreme devotion to the order comes from.
I just finished the game, my eyes sprung when I saw the “La’Ahad”. Would be cool if this means Roshan is actually an ancestor to Altair.

It’s so cool to discover that the ancient temple under Alamut Castle was Loki’s prison cell (or torture room). Meaning when Altair went there for the memory discs, he saw Loki’s memories of torture as well. The device Loki was in made him relive memories of being tortured by his jailer. Kind of like that one scene in Marvel’s Loki season 1 where he was put in a time loop where he was kicked in the balls by lady sif over and over.
You wanna know sth crazier? Alamut is actually Asgard.

I don’t think Basim himself ever had a kid but Loki did, and by the end of Mirage it’s Loki that’s merged into Basim.
So in Valhalla we’re not seeing Basim anymore but Loki the whole time.

Just letting you know that in Ac Valhalla it was Loki in basims body as at the end of this game it is shown his eagle scratches him symbolising that it is know Loki and no basim . And as you mentioned how basim/Loki had a son , it was actually fenrir the wolf . This is known for a fact because in Valhalla you went into dream sequences and it would take you back to when the were gods such as Odin and so forth and in those parts we find out that Loki/ basim has a son that is a wolf.

While her actions seem odd, roshan was right in a way. The order fights against those corrupted by power, and roshan wanted Basim to stay away from alamut because she feared that he would be corrupted by the truth, and in the end he was. This is parallel to Al Mualim in ac1 and how he was corrupted as well

Roshan simple valued letting go of your past self in order to being able to properly fight for the assassins to secure freedom. For me she might be right, but girl was tryna kill him and left the assassins just because she valued this "rule" very highly.
Now that you have completed the game, can you please do a simple free roam with you talking about the best and the worst things of AC mirage and how it is compared to older ACs.
Just finished today. Such a good game, top 3 for me. This ending was insanely spine chilling and intense.

@@randyReeves-it7gsI think it’s mostly Loki in control now, Basim might have some say in what he does but probably not much anymore. We can see his eagle Enkidu even recognizes that basim is not really basim anymore when he scratches his face
@@randyReeves-it7gsBasim is mostly in control, he just now has Lokis memories. Loki does sometimes come to the forefront (like when he reminisces on his past life) but for the most part it’s still Basim.

To kinda explain the ending. Nehal is the embodiment of Loki’s memories, she is none existent. And when they touch before she fades away that is Loki manifesting inside of basim. And when his eagle rejects him that’s symbolism of the evil inside of basim. Or so ign says

Been waiting for this finale overall story was alright but I’m happy Ubisoft changed the gameplay back to it’s old roots. Even so I give it 8/10 was a really good game

people probably don't know this but, Enkidu scratched Basim at the end, because it realized Basim finally reincarnated as Loki

I loved this game! Probably one of my fave AC’s. Did feel weird without any modern day stuff in it (I know why obviously) but I really enjoyed playing this. Felt so much like being an assassins again rather than the previous large maps games.
I had my suspicions about Nehal. I actually thought she was going to be the jinni in his nightmares but wasn’t quite correct. I guess it kept with the Mirage theme!
Was also cool to see you get to Quabihas son as I went through straight through following Marika so it’s cool to see different play through doing different things!

these intros especially this one was ELITE , didn't have much hope for the game pre release but I am in love , such a shame its shorter than usual but a great game , 8.7/10
I get really bad nausea and lightheaded from playing games, so I don’t play at all and only watch game plays, but AC is my favorite franchise because of intricate storylines like this. Full Explanations below, If you guys need more explanations on the ending, i was confused but this made it clear.
After making peace with his memories of being imprisoned and tortured, Basim becomes one with Nehal. This symbolises the merging of Basim’s human body and Loki’s consciousness. Loki has now been fully restored and reincarnated.
We can see that Basim has fully transformed into Loki when his eagle, Enkidu, rejects him. Animals are generally considered to be highly intelligent and sensitive, and so we can see here Enkidu sensing the evil trickster within their master.
In the final scene, Basim swears vengeance on those who tortured him should they walk this earth. This foreshadows his quest to find and kill Odin, which will bring him to Eivor during the events of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. -IGN
I hate so much how Mirage is exactly how is OG fans wanted. Everything feels so good yet on the Xbox reviews lots of the reviews are from only the RPG fans saying how bad the combat is and many other things. I don’t care about the combat. It’s simple and I love it. It’s exactly like black flag just being able to fight a whole army of enemies by parrying then insta killing an enemy
I feel like should’ve been a bit more explicit about Loki in the end. Maybe like have his voice change to the Loki voice actor from Valhalla.
I assume his voice changes as time goes on.

Idk if people noticed but Roshan bint La-Ahad (bint=daughter of) could be related to Altaïr Ibn La-Ahad (ibn=son of). Fun little detail imo

In the beginning when Hollow first went to Dervais' house, Nehal teleports to his house, which Hollow notices and questions, but never thought much of it. In the last episode, after Basim wakes up from his nightmare and Nehal is there to comfort him, there are certain parts of the conversation where Basim is seen speaking to Nehal without opening his mouth. Well played.
Tbh i liked the idea they gave for this game,keeps the player wanting more to know the truth and the depth of this franchise non the less this AC really was a blast can't wait for the upcoming game
Basim saying someone close to him murdered his son is supposed to be a reference to Odin/Eivor imprisoning Fenrir in Norse mythology, Fenrir is the son of Loki. (Note that this had happened during the Isu era but you can see a version of it in Valhalla when doing the Asgard missions
With Roshan seemingly leaving the Hidden Ones behind, it made me think if she’s like Aelfred. Meaning, she grows disenchanted with the way the Hidden Ones are, and eventually she’ll start working towards changing the Hidden Ones into what will eventually become the Assassin Order. Similar to how Aelfred wants to establish the Templar Order.
the part u mention in valhalla about basim losing his son for someone close to him, it's actually loki refering to losing his son (fenrir) for someone close to him and betrayed him (odin), that's why loki hate odin so much.
Can we get a Mirage 2 , with the same team give them a Bigger Budget , update the teleport to like Ghost of Tsushima or Batman , great graphics and animations plzzzzzzzzz I love this team

If anyone doesn’t really understand what happens to basim I’ll give my opinion that alot of other people believe.
When basim remembered his past as Loki he gave into lokis persona which is why he is the way he is in Valhalla. Eivor chose to resist odins persona and think for themself which is why their personality doesn’t change at all (Also because Valhalla isn’t very well made)
Idk what half the comments are complaining about, I dont really know Valhalla’s story that well but this was refreshing to see Ubisoft cut down on the weird RPG stuff and kinda go back to what made AC, AC in the first place. From the beginning it reminded me of the first game in the series, Id love to see a sequel to Basim’s (or Loki apparently) story.

I wish Hollow would use the mirage ability more, so many instances where he could have wiped out several people but stuck to using his tools instead. Nevertheless, amazing series loved every second of it
I've now watched this game twice...awesome game, love it! I wish you would do the side quests along the way, because now that you beat the game...it's like what's the use for the side quests... very anti-climatic...but if a DLC should pop up...that would be very cool. ttyl ...God bless!

Those who said they were disappointed just wanted Ubisoft to fail. One of the reasons why I hate the Ubisoft fan base. Ubisoft actually makes top tier games but they don’t want to admit that.
I hope you will play the side missions especially the one from nehal. Maybe we'll understand more about the ending there. Also I'd like to see what happens in the 40 thieves dlc
I played the 40 thieves DLC .. nothing much if you ask me a waste of money just for the DLC. Spended like 15 minutes on the mission then done all I got was the robe

At the end I finally understand Basim's friend is the other side of him and the person torturing him is the secret outfit you get with the shards because the dagger is used in the isu memory .

I could be the only OG AC fan that says this, but I really enjoyed the rpg of origins, Odyssey and Valhalla I do with this game used the same rpg system of Valhalla or similar I like the combat being a little more difficult at least how I played Valhalla with the difficulty and how the combat system works it really made you feel like an assassin, you had to be careful with the stealth or else you'd be fighting too many enimies and a good chance of death, I do enjoy how good this game looks and the story of this one but I feel like it was too easy and a little short? I mean we waited for this game for awhile just to finish it in just a few hours and with not a lot to do after the story just to wait another 2-3 years for the next game, I don't understand the complaint Valhalla had with "too much content" I'm 110 hours in and I still have so much to do it's not overwhelming if anything it's entertaining because of the lore you can go and find and the mythology you get into, the cool gear you can find with all the history behind those weapons and I just feel like this game is too short for how excited and hyped we got for this game I was expecting more, and I think Baghdad has such an interesting history that could be explored more

Weeks before Mirage came out, I was thinking. Syria and Iraq are neighboring countries. There had to be a connection between Basim and Altair in some way.
Then Rayhan called Roshan by her full name. Roshan Ibn La'Ahad.
Altair Ibn La'Ahads ancestor. Meaning she's also Desmonds ancestor.

She's not an ancestors not either of them. She just has the same similar name because she gave herself that name. He had a former name, but gave up her entire past and gave herself a new identity as a hidden one.

Lastly, their name just means they are not related to anyone. It's a common way to address yourself to not have any familiar ties, not a way to say they are related to each other. If Roshan was an ancestors to Desmond would them Templars have invested into Basim much earlier on as they would have know about his existence much earlier? Or possibly even the assassins?
The ending is confusing, so what does basim learned that william wants to share to us? I get it, basim challenged the creed but the way he challenged it is a bit lacking. I was hoping he will see something that made him doubt their ways

The biggest thing that actually took me by surprise was the actual concept of the ending, the impact it had on me (A huge impact in fact) it was the fact that roshan was connected to Altair as an ancestor.
not actually, ibn la-ahad just means descendant of nobody. they have no blood relation
She's like 60 years old, if she is related to Altair he's related to a child she had b4 this story or he's related another way.

It’s so funny he keeps mistaking the horn bearers horn for a pickpocketable item. I thought that too until I accidentally threw a knife and broke the horn. So it gets highlighted because it’s telling you that it can be broken so he can no longer use it to call for help.
I got crazy goosebumps from this game. Assassin's creed has always been my favorite game of all time. All of the games always live up to and even exceed my expectations. From learning more about the culture and history, geography to the stories, to the gameplay. This is truly so good it literally makes me happy thinking about it, all of it. How people can make games like these and how truly amazing these games are. Waow! 9/10. What I think could be improved is the length of the story.

remember hollow game isent finished because you completed the story, for game to be fully completed all side content needs to be completed to like all contracts,chests and collectibles and everything else that can be done in the game hehe🙂
