Thanks! This has the Foddrill King Kong 2* lift spindles, old style with welded KK snout. Like many of these spindles in the race application, they develop small cracks every couple of races that need to be ground out and repaired. If I were do another I would spring for the Foddrill/JFW 2.0” snout variation. Unfortunately they’re only available exclusively through JFW and they’re quite pricey.
@@donaldmichaelson8596 yea I feel you on that! Unbelievably expensive. I’m putting together a 4 seat play/prerunner and I quickly realized that having a beam does not mean low budget lol.
Cool car..but I never understood why everyone, even bigger sand car guys put the 2D trans..the cheapest trans you can get..then have to keep rebuilding it...get big boy stuff
Agreed, cost was a factor in the initial build tho. New owner may update to 934. I never had a 930 fail even in the hash terrain of Lucerne and Barstow. Stars were replaced each race.
DUDE THIS IS dope!
Thanks man! Let me know if you have any questions
Good looking car. What snouts on spindle? 2”? King Kong?

Just a ballpark how much invested? It’s very nice 👍
Hard to keep track when spread out over time but probably around 60k in today dollars to re-create.
Hey man can you put the build list and the name of the company I’m from Dominican Republic and I have a 1975 I want to do this here

The big boy stuff robs a lot of power off of these small power plant cars.
"big boy stuff" is another 10-20 grand
( Sorry dad )
what kind of travel numbers are you getting front and rear
I believe it was around 14.5 front, 17 rear. Beamed from end will only do so much, regardless of how you set it up.
Only 930cv's.. that odd.. should be using 934's

Don’t sell it
