Longines just have an answer to every watch dilemma, the future for this brand is so promising
Not 100% convinced, because they artificially increased their prices almost to Tudor level, but their latest designs are exciting for sure :)
the brand is from 1832! but NOW you think their future is bright! lol theyve just been mucking around for 200 years but now they gots their sheet together! hahaha
Well I am sure my ancestors liked them in 1832 but there are no YT comments to confirm either way 😢
@@BraveBeatersLongines Hydroconquest 39mm ceramic can be had well below the $1750usd price point. Great watch, well finished for the price…clasp needs upgrade but otherwise nice piece and value
I have to agree. Longines just have a little something that makes them special. They are hungry for success and they adapt quickly relatively speaking.
Next the best dive watch to get for $1000!
Thanks for another great video, I appreciate how clear and well organised your content is.
Thank you very much! :)
Thanks for a great comparison. Love them all. Starting to really love Tudor. Longines is really starting to take my fancy.
I own both the BB54 & just last week added the SJE093 to my collection, bought from Tokyo no less. I'd have to give my vote to the SJE093. Love it for the very reasons you mentioned, and while I agree that it's a tad overpriced, it's a small price to pay for the most accurate re-issue of the legendary 62MAS. I even compared it to the 1965 original on display at the Seiko Dream Square at Ginza and was really satisfied at its almost 1-1 accuracy. Love your videos brother!
The same reason I waited a lot of time to grab it. I love it, love the accuracy.
Thank you very much & Congratulations for the purchase! :)
Nice expérience !
Great video, thanks! I’m very lucky to own both the 54 & the SJE093. I think they are both absolutely amazing watches. I honestly don’t think the Seiko is overpriced - certainly not for the fit and finish for the watch which is at GS level. You can make an argument for the movement not being up to scratch for a £3k watch but honestly I don’t really care. It’s an iconic diver in the most true to original iteration. Going back to the 54, it’s a vintage diver with new specs! They are both perfect for me!
Thanks for your thoughtful and attractive videos. They're a pleasure to watch.
Thank you very much! :)
I would have to choose the Longines too. Nice video 👍
Awesome video. Great job!
Thank you Matthew! :)
Thanks for the review. All three great looking watches. Always a great discription and hands-on experience explanation and beautiful images of these watches, make your reviews a pleasure to look at. Greets Mike
Thank you Mike! I tried to make something a bit different this time. I appreciate your words! Cheers, Andrei
@@BraveBeaters Your doing a good job with the cobination, showing beautiful creativ pictures and actual usefull information about the watches. As a musician I know, at a live gig its not only the music what pleasure the brain. The visual aspect is huge.
As a Longines Legend Diver owner, I’m happy to see that we are sharing same feelings. Although BB and 62MAS looks stunning; LLD is way more attractive, elegant and versatile for me.
Totally agree! :)
Great review, many thanks. My pick would also be the Longines, I tried one on a few months ago and it wears very well but i'm still trying to get used to the beads of rice bracelets, just a bit too fancy for my tastes.
I can’t get on with the snowflake hour hand on the BB54, I’m afraid. Nice to see that Longines is doing something to shorten its unnecessarily long lugs. The 62MAS is, along with the 6105 Willard, a super classic Seiko design (my favourite design of these three) from the time when Seiko was a design leader. I have to say I think all three are somewhat too expensive, even with a discount, but the 62MAS is the best design IMHO.
Totally agree in regard to the price but the iconic case as well. Cheers!
62mas is my pick but this is not because 54 or lld are bad (on the contrary in fact…) but I am biased as a seikoholic … :)
yes you are! :D
Three elegant divers.
One elegant review.
Thank you.
I like the Longines and the Seiko
My favorite watches are Rolex Explorer 1, Seiko 62 MAS SJE093, and Longines Legend Diver 39mm. Of the three I’d be hard pressed to pick a favorite. And I know the Explorer is not a diver’s watch. Excellent videos!
Hahaa! We have common tastes :) Thank you very much! Cheers!
Longines have really stepped up the game the last few years
I personally chose a Squale 1521 as my entry level diver, priced little above $1k. Despite being the “cheapest” watch I own, it quickly became my daily. Rich history of this brand, vintage look and legibility were my main purchase reasons. The limited accuracy of the movement being the only let down. Amongst your featured trio, Tudor would win the $3K category for me, with its stunning finish, strong brand name and in house movement. As always a pleasure to watch your content
I have to find myself one! :)
Agree about the legend diver. I’ll take your advice and hold off until I can get a good price on the used market.
Yes, that's the best thing to do. Cheers!
Thank you so much mamacoo for taking us shopping🛍…my wish list just got longer
I preferred the earlier model with the date window similar to this longines that you are presenting. 😮
The SJE093 has been an amazing watch for me -- it's part of my 3 watch collection alongside my Omega 2254.50 and Citizen Promaster.
Solid trio! Congrats!
Interesting trio. Agree that the Seiko is perhaps more for die hard fans. Hard to choose between the other two. The aesthetic is so different there is room for both.
haha! I said the same thing! :D Cheers!
Here in the uk you can get the Seiko Sla055 for 2.4k this beats all of these on finishing its grand seiko quality
I agree, that one is amazing, I love it as well!
What straps are those?
New subsicriber here!
I love my sje093. I had the spb143 and I was looking to “upgrade”. The BB54, IWC spitfire, GS sbgw231, P39 were all contenders but as a Seiko lover I chose the sje. I’m also getting spot on accuracy since I received it a month ago.
Is it a lot better than the 143 ?
@@daveLin104 From the factory by +/- 6 sec. However I dropped my 143 and had to get it regulated by Seiko and now they’re the same. So aside the thin movement what you’re paying for is finishing and the limited edition.
I would definitely go with the Longines. I found the BB54 too small for me, and although I've not tried the Seiko on, likely too small as well. The Longines is a great size and great on wrist. I love that blue dial model the most. Longines definitely has a winner on their hands.
Fully agree! Actually I am surprised to see how many people went with the LLD, instead of the other 2,
Good choice!! Mine too
Cheers! :)
they are all lovely darn !!!
Certina ds pH 200m does it all a about a third of the price
Ph500 is the best value for the money imo
I totally agree :)
That SJE is so slick.
Agree! :)
I love both my Longines Legend Diver 39 and my Black Bay 58 and couldn’t pick which one I like more.
Good point, both super solid! Cheers!
Sell them both and buy the Seiko ; )
@@palmeadia er….don’t think so!

Absolutely agree, though if I was to go small skin diver, I'd go OG Bathyscaphe 38 (absolute bargain). The Tudor is great for women sand those with small wrists; but otherwise a bit 'meh.' It's just a small BB58. The Seiko for me missed the mark (and I'm a huge Seiko fan) - a lovely watch but a feel of high standard production for LE money cp earlier SLAs. And ultimately, I think the best Seikos were either Diver '68 variants (Marinemaster etc) or Willard variants. But the Longines is great. A thoughtful retro, with the best movement quality.
Totally agree, especially with the LLD pick! Cheers!
Better get tropic straps for LLD 39. They are made for each other, I believe..
I decided to buy Pelagos 39 instead of black bay 54.
However if aesthetics is the only concern, I like legend diver.
Seiko for me!
Perfecto !!!
Longines ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Fully agree! :)
Longines for me
So much value for money
Great size
A different look than the average diver
Awesome movement
What’s not to love
haha! Totally agree!
Longines - but black or blue-ooooo❤
I really like the BB54, but I’m kind of biased because I have a BB58 that is ridiculously accurate. It would be so much better with the T-Fit clasp.
Japan should really come up with a rating for accuracy similar to COSC!
Totally agree, maybe the 58 will receive an upgrade next year.
What do you think about the 39mm legend diver for 7.5" wrist?
It works for sure!
New clip! Yeey!
brand new! :D
Longines all the way!
SEIKO is the answer
To a question nobody asked me … 😂
Longines for the win 🏆
Wasn't the seiko a limited edition and long sold out? So not an option unless you buy used?
There are still new, here and there. But preowned mostly
The last watch that I will ever buy will be a used Tudor Pelagos.. blue/42.. and hoping to get it as close to 3k as possible🤞!
Checkout prices on chrono24. they tend to sell very good there. Cheers
@@BraveBeaters I’ve checked them out.. just bought my Willard spb237 there.. new for $850.. absolutely love it.. $500 cheaper than retail.. no rush on the Pelagos 🤥.. and honestly, after getting the Willard, I’m totally satisfied with what I have now!
Iv tried it on...didn't like the height and the ugly clasp, also I don't think I am a snowflake hour hand guy. I think the FXD is more attractive but the hour hand again....
91 13
I’d need a three sided coin to decide which one Andre!🤣👍🏼
haha! a dice with the rest of the remaining facets with: buy none :D
Hey Brave Beaters , very good video . I can do better editing in your videos which can help you to get more engagement in your videos . Pls lmk what do you think ?
I would pick the Tudor, hands down. I like Longines, just not this model. I also like Seiko, but this Tudor just seems a class above both the Longines and Seiko.
Not because of the tie to Rolex. I honestly wish it had no relationship with Rolex. I’d rather Tudor be its own thing than Rolex’s sister or “lower tier”.
Alpina Seastrong Diver Heritage looks better than the longines, with the same quality, more heritage, and 3-5x cheaper
Based on look the seiko , the lld , and a mile away the tudor...
sinn u50 tegimented 🔥🔥🔥
Works without tegiment as well :)
Looks ilke hrthik Roshan❤
Seiko. Easy win.
haha! One of the best in our eyes :D
Doxa sub 200 whitepearl and mido Ocean Star tribute teal are better looking watches than everything in this video and like a fifth of the price. I have yet to find one bracelet I like more than the mido one or a design cleaner than the sub 200...or a white bezel for men (also looks like a better design than the 62mas)
Also the black and silver Baltic diver looks better than the sea master heritage with fauxtina
Totally agree with first 2 models, fan of the brands :)
Guinand is a brand with very little youtube coverage too; great divers, Sinn heritage, amazing specs.
The best dive watch to get under 3000$ is the Ollech & Wajs C-1000
Nice vintage inspired case.
Sinn U50
Idk how inaccurate your 6L37 is but mine is almost spot on since I got my sje a month ago.
Same here. Seiko often gets a bad reputation but the SJE093 movement is excellent
I have to measure mine and see how it goes. I was just looking at the tolerances indicated by Seiko. Cheers
Tudor ist choice, I owned the BB Red when it went it out in 2013. The 3 are awesome divers non the less. Thanks for the video 👍🏽
Best Dive watch under 1000 🤔
Microbrand's territory :)
Seiko King Turtle for me
@@145CloverleafI second this.
Casio Frogman 30th anniversary Red...many discounts; or, any Seiko Turtle - I prefer King Turtle Day Date.
Citizen promaster
You get the Tudor and Longines, that's a great watch collection already. Two-piece combo meal-deal, done and dusted. I used to like Seiko but the Marine Master redesign really put me off. Also, I don't like that even though the Yen has depreciated by 60% vs the dollar the last three years, Seiko continues to increase their prices aggressively--pure greed.
Totally agree! I think that's just a side Marinemaster, the professional one will remain in the same case, size and WR. Cheers
An Oris aquis is a better deal and a better watch
I am still in shock that that the 62MAS is $3000. That is nuts. I think all things considered the value on the Longines and the BB54 are way better. I'd go with the Longines as well. Take care Andrei!
I was in shock when they pulled out the packaging after I bought it. I was like, that's it!??!
@@BraveBeaters Maybe you dropped the piece of gold that was in the box haha. Yeah its astonishing to see what these things cost.
Longines is the cool swiss guy with style
seiko the japanese nerd guy
tudor the rich boring euro
hahah! good one!
@@BraveBeaters I like all 3
Seiko are starting to completely miss the mark. I'm a big Seiko fan, but have given up on them for now
Calling a watch that can last decades 'obsolete' seems like a stretch.
None of these. Best true dive watch money can buy is the Sinn U50 Hydro imo.
Imagine pay 3k dollars and have Seiko
You have no idea how good this seiko is.
I love Longines. The legend diver is incredible and far better than the Tudor.
I have a 42mm Spirit and it's absolutely stunning for the price.
At most the other is just a £700 seiko.
None of the above…. Sorry.
ooh just 3000 dollars , nice how could i pay it if it was 4000
Bb 54 has aluminium bezel. Joke!
It has aluminium bezel to look vintage not to cut cost.
@@dannycph thanks for the info, hope that is the reasoning behind it. But when you think about it, lame argument whatsoever. You are charging a 3.000$ for a watch that has a bezel of a 100$ watch, it’s the cheapest material out there. Doesn’t add up, it’s a huge dissapointment if you ask me.
@@Bobmarleej your noob is showing if you ask me
