i ordered mine with the tri-mode non flex-cut PCB. I indeed intent to use it in the office, so i try to go with a more silent thocky build. As for switches, i am not sure yet. maybe some Gateron NorthPole V1 or Gateron Oilking. What i hear so far, tha config with the non-flex pcb and the POM plate was the right choice for me. Love your videos. They are calming and just nice to watch.
I like the POM plate with foam but I do like kind of a muted sound, just not too muted!

the last sound test was the thockiest, my favourite, with all foams. i wonder what the other plate configs would sound like with all foams too. does the lcd screen do anything else other than display date, time, battery level and gif? :)
also, i like the inner engraving detail in internal weight, i think it'd be nicer if it was displaying on the outside weight instead

Sounds so good with the foam. I have the QK100 and I added all the foam plus another layer of foam and it still doesn’t sound this good
Definitely like the last config. I'm looking to use it in the office and keeping an eye on the new group buy theyre coming out with. although I love the thock, does anyone have any reccs on going for a more creamy sound? I think it'll be nicer for in office so it's like a quieter thock? (I hope yall understand or I might make no sense at all. I've only built 3 keyboards and still learning)

@@ricecloud Probably not quite on topic and also probably not worth a video for, but it'd be great to know more about how you light your room for these videos. When I try to do "cozy" lighting it just becomes a cave with some warm orange highlights lol

yes, make sure to read carefully and compare the description with pictures/name of the bezel design before ordering.

I just received my qk100 and finished building it as well, I was surprised that it doesn't light up? only the lcd screen does ;_;
maybe you have to play around with the rgb settings with the key combinations, if that doesn't help you can always reach out to QK via their DC server

Oh, I just saw that your top row in the numpad has the numbers in the wrong order. It is 8, 7, 9 instead of 7, 8, 9.
not sure what kind of numpad you're using but usually it's 7, 8, 9 ._.
Where is your mat from?
The legend of the keycaps looks ...kind of blur, how is you actual feeling? but it is very sound keycaps though
it's actually quite sharp but the grey color is abit light and in the lighting setup does seem blurry
could you perhaps add a timestamp? bc i was looking on desktop and mobile and to me they look extremely sharp o-o
some areas are more blurred out because of the focus of my camera.

I'd definitely been looking for a custom with a full size numpad but I finally went with the Av4 Alice style and I'm not sure I want to have two boards I like. Nowadays, I don't really use the num pad for anything but putting in my pin and credit card numbers...
