R.I,P, too Don Dowdy the singer and Mandolin player who passed in july 2021 only in his 30s. and may God comfort his Family. best singer I have heard in quite awhile.
Rest with Jesus Donald! I hope that Robert, Victor and Steve will continue as Donald would have wanted. You might find another left-handed, multiinstrumental, wizard like Donald. I kind of doubt it, but you will never replace his wonderful voice. I was blessed to have made his acquaintance and get to know him better. He was such a talent with such unexpected humility. You raised him right Victor Dowdy!
The only bluegrasser I know for sure that had the potential to follow the same path as Keith. Don got a song placed way down in his soul, then let it out with passion and perfection. He and Keith's endings were more than tragic.
I found them looking for Larry sparks, Tennessee 1949,after hearing them, verse Larry sparks they are so much better there are no comparison, the harmony and heart felt sound hits the spot what a lucky find by accident ,keep goin guys!!!!
Great sound on all your videos. Seems they had the same problem at that show as we seem to be experiencing at many of the shows and festivals we go to. The people in the background just want shut up. I wish these idiots would just get up and leave if they don't want to hear this great music. Thanks again for all of your post.
Excellent song and performance boys your awesome give yourselves a pat on the back you would do any Mama Proud. Would you consider coming to Canada to perform give us a taste of perfection for sure . Keep up the good work. Totally breathless performance.
@nancybavon I havn't heard them before but Im in the UK so thanks to UA-cam we can all see these talented guys. I love their music, their version of "Wait a Minute " is the best ive heard .....they nailed the tempo spot on and the young guy on mandolin plays the best mandolin ive heard on that song.
