    Can you use tap water that's been filtered? By a Brita

    • @WorldWideCorals
      @WorldWideCorals  Рік тому +1

      The short answer is no. Brita doesn't remove all the chemicals which will keep you chasing problems.

    What is the best size tank for someone with little room and little money? I have a pico but as a beginner, it is really difficult and I am getting nowhere with it.

    • @WorldWideCorals
      @WorldWideCorals  Рік тому

      Hi Jonathan. The more water in the aquarium, the more stable it is. We would recommend the largest you can get with the space and budget you have. For the pico, it's hard to pinpoint what the issue can be. Make sure you are doing weekly, large water changes with good RODI water/salt mix at the right salinity. Also, be sure not to overfeed. The smaller the tank, the harder it is to keep due to stability.

      @jonthamastersmooth Рік тому

      @@WorldWideCorals yeah I am using Nutri-saltwater...a premixed...claim it was an instant cycle...but I think that was partially false?

      @@WorldWideCorals I guess the water was only good enough for fish maybe. Either way I may have to move up to a 15 gallon to get the hang of things first

    I got one question how would I get my PH down if it’s too high ? 🤔

    • @AfterLife_Ventures
      @AfterLife_Ventures 3 місяці тому

      Understand what's rising the pH in the first place. Regulate that and pH will automatically become stable

    Is it ok to use distilled water because I live in an apartment and I cant hook up a filter to any of the faucets... not jumping through those hoops to modify something that isnt mine and could possibly catch shit for.

    • @WorldWideCorals
      @WorldWideCorals  Рік тому +2

      Absolutely! Distilled water will work just fine.
