You know, Smith and Wesson make stainless revolvers with black and grey case coloring on trigger and hammer and brownish and bluish case coloring on their blued revolvers. But you have them totally black. I also wonder if you could install those vintage original factory wood grips on it. Not after market but vintage original. 2 problems will be: to find them and to istall them so they fit that Umarex gun. Good luck with that project! The problem would be that grip screw that would go through the CO2 cartridge 😁 But maybe you could glue in only the screw head just for imitation for the outside look and fix the back side of the grip so that the grip clicks in like that plastic grip the gun comes with.
The trigger and hammer were taken off the black/blued/dark grey coloured m29 that Umarex make. They are not totally black. Don’t know how best to describe the colour but it’s factory. The grips I hope to source and fit will be the original square butt ones. I have no intention of running a screw through the centre. As you correctly said, the co2 would be in the way and it would not make easy access for co2 replacement. I would keep to the original Umarex replica concept. One side being screwed in and the other clipped in. Hope this verifies your any queries you had

I am in Portugal, and I worked in a guns shop, and I had friends on one of our polices, and there was a S&W model 31 in .32 long ctg, and all the blued S&Ws I saw were just like you said, and the "white" ones too... So these replicas need to be modified, which I intent to do, when I finally buy these models... ❤On the other hand, if they are from Marushin, Tanaka, and other Japanese replicas, they are even more realistic than those we have from Umarex and ASG, etc... 😢. Unfidables, unaffordables, unreachables, etc where I am!!

where can you buy one of those revolvers?
Not sure what country you’re in but I’m in uk and they are readily available from most airgun shops.
