I am a widow my husband died 17 years ago when my youngest was only 10 we had been married for 25 years. For me the way this young woman sings this song represents the the sorrow of loss yet the joy of my children, the sorrow that I feel that he and they were never able share in the joys of their successes and the Joy I feel when they do well, the sorrow that he will never know their children and my joy at the fact that my eldest daughter is expecting her first child (a daughter). For me this young woman has just sung, not a child’s song, it is an adults anthem of hope for the future. ❤️
Sydnie is an amazing artist who, in my opinion, is pure in her heart...humble. This is a rare quality that projects out, influences and brings an elevation in one's inner self, sometimes called one's soul. To steal a quote from "Midnight In Paris," stated by the character Gertrude Stein, "The artist's job is not to succumb to despair but to find an antidote for the emptiness of existence."
Like Simon, I've always hated this song until I heard Jimmie Herrod's version on AGT. But this version touched my heart & I can't stop playing it. Incredible! Yes, it's a 10 out of 10! And I love what Bruno perfectly said. ❤

The West End is London's Broadway. I saw this on BGT, and I can't tell you how many talent show auditions I've seen (too many to count), but this is one of my all time favorites. Sydnie is one of the most likable, affable, incredibly funny, contestants I have ever seen, and her rendition of "Tomorrow" is easily the best I have ever heard. Some producer at the West End has to hear this and grab her now. She should be the next lead in "Waitress", and I hope she sings "She Used to Be Me" somewhere in this show. Sydnie checks All the boxes. Absolutely love this woman, and it would be wonderful if she won. Moments like this one is why I watch these shows. "Music's Magic"! Love that!
West End is the equivalent of Broadway here in the States. I absolutely was floored by this audition when I first heard her. Amazing talent. You should also react to the choir Navi, breathtaking and so beautiful.
Sydnie was a knockout on BGT. I fully expect she will soon get her "break" into the West End. Her voice is spectacular and she is a fantastic performer!

What I love about Sydnie is that despite of her natural confidence she's so humble to the core. Her reaction to the crowd's response showed she's unaware of how good she is. Just love her. I also love your reaction. Very much like mine the first time I watched. I teared up.
This is the 40th time listening to Sydnie. Goosebumps teary eyes … every time. I thought Putri Ariani was a sure winner on AGT and look how that turned out … lost to a dog act? BGT like AGT will probably let us down. Sydnie just needs exposure and not tied up with BGT rules and laws. Go Sydnie … let’s have it!👍❤️
So interesting that they played Over The Rainbow, sung by Loren Allred, who also got a Golden Buzzer from Amanda on BGT 2022. But this girl is pretty much a complete unknown, whereas Loren was known as the voice behind Never Enough to some people. And like Sydnie, Loren also got a lot of flack for being a “professional”. I don’t consider singing on cruise ships and performing as a cast member in a play as “well known”. Bet no one who saw her sing before remembers her name from those earlier performances. Our girl, Lucy Thomas, is starring in Rosie that is on the West End, at the end of the year. That’s probably where you heard it before.

Honestly, I am not surprised by your reaction. I am huge Barbra Streisand fan even if she is completely not my generation (but does generation matter when someone is just such an artist?), I've watched vast majority of the movies/musicals where she was starring. And I can feel/hear some Barbra Streisand vibes in Sindy's voice/interpretation... I did not expect that. Wow!

I'm a musician and the most touching area of this audition is Sydnie saying at the end in the foyer that she Felt Hurt. I understand what she said. I've have vastly smaller audiences but you can feel with certain songs the peoples hurt or joy or what ever. I'm sure with an audience of this size she felt their feelings very well. So her saying she Felt Hurt made sense. She really did strike a chord with this audience.

(starring Hugh Jackman - 2017) It'll add clarity and impact to her performance.

I think I missed the connection to Shirley Temple though, Tomorrow wasn't written until 1977 and was first featured in the 1982 Annie film. Thanks Larry for responding. Very kind. I have not seen any either but I think there's a reason. When you get the golden buzzer, I believe you go right to the finals or at least the semi-finals. I would say the west end in London is the equivalent of Broadway. It’s where a lot of our wonderful Theatres are. Sydney could perform on any stage and just take your breath away!👏💐❤️

Musical theatre is not everyone's cup of tea and doesn't normally do well in talent shows but Sydnie certainly showed them.
Not all tears are of pain. Music and emotion was coming thru her from somewhere else. And I think I know from where! Thanks Larry best one yet.

Larry, I could have been narrating this reaction and would have said everything you did. I don't think you missed anything. I also agree that this was one of the finest vocal auditions I've seen in any of these shows over the years. Certainly in the top five. Thanks for your great commentary.
She's pretty incredible. I keep looking for other BGT songs that she is doing and I haven't seen any others on the show. Have you seen any others? Blessing, Ron!
Thanks Larry for responding. Very kind. I have not seen any either but I think there's a reason. When you get the golden buzzer, I believe you go right to the finals or at least the semi-finals. That would mean there is a delay before she performs again. Keep looking and I think it will come. I hope you're doing well as we haven't chatted for a while.
