    Very interesting procedure here, learned quite a few things. I am wondering if you can see a way where the "y spline" could be wrapped in a way that it is invisible? So the result would be less a morph from one character or form to another, but more in line with a write-on using the falloff of the effectors applied to "Y matrix"?

    Thanks Ej great work as always, there is a way to do Morph Between 2 objects? like cube to sphere with same poligon count?

    I wish C4D had the capacity to "Blend" splines, the way Adobe Illustrator can do, where you specify how many degrees of blend lines there should be between your two original lines.

    Hi, EJ! Thanks for all you do. I just bought two S&T packs and having fun. What would one do it they wanted a third letter and morph to occur in the loop? Thanks buddy!

    hi EJ........... im loving the tutorial thanks for sharing it.... i need help i seem to have everything else right but my capsule is not morphing along with the spline....please assist me with any tips or corrections if i have missed something

      +Arthur Manyenya Hey man, not sure but I'd definitely double check to make sure you're following all the steps as there are quite a few of them! :)

    Hello! Realy nice. I made step by step but: I have a Question.
    I can morph between Y Matrix and S Matrix with the Inheritance Control . Cool .
    But Y Matrix and S Matrix dont adopt the shape of the Geometry (the capsule with the Spline warp).
    Y Matrix morph to S Matrix but Y Geometry stay still.
    Thanks for everything.

    Hello, when i place the tracer effect in my scene select connect all object and move down in the object manger it looks like its closes my splines even tho, my source spline has spline close unchecked?

    quick question (new to this) how did you ad the "stroke" capsule to the spline wrap, i did a normal spline added a circle and finally added a sweep to get i calligraphy kinda look but the ends where sharp, i like how yours have a small round tip on the stroke!

    Hey thank you for this great job. But my capsule is not morphing along with the spline.... I am sure I have followed each steps. The spline warp uses the spline edit, however it is the matrix points which travel between two positions rather than the spine itself. I think maybe this is why it doesn't work in my project. Could you plz assist me here? Thank you.

    Hey man, I got a little bit stuck in the beginning of the tutorial. Did you import the paths from photoshop/illustrator? I added the Spline Wrap to my capsule, I think it's scaled properly, but somehow the edges of my splines aren't rounded off, they start from a sharp point and end in a sharp point. Also my path's not as smooth like yours, the edges are pretty blocky, could you help me out?

    • @eyedesyn
      @eyedesyn  7 років тому

      I created this inside of C4D, but you could easily import paths from AI as well. The pointy spline points can be smoothed out by selecting a point, right clicking, and choosing "Soft Interpolation". Definitely check out some pointers on how to use splines, I go over this subject in my C4D Lite series: eyedesyn.com/cinema4d-lite

    How would you go about doing 3 Splines of Animation. Currently your showing how you go from one to another. but how about from one to another then to another???

    • @eyedesyn
      @eyedesyn  6 років тому

      Same workflow! Follow the same workflow and instead of spline 1 to spline 2, it's spline 2 to spline 3. Super easy!

    Is there any way i can have it change to a third letter ? When the effector is moving back to the starting position , can i change the spline trace to a third matrix ?

    • @eyedesyn
      @eyedesyn  7 років тому +1

      Totally! You'd just need to copy the same workflow for that 2nd object to morph into a 3rd. So you'd add another inheritance that would be applied to that second group. Just follow the same workflow basically

    Is there a way for the inheritance effector to follow the Matrix cloner animation of added shader effector to the Matrix cloner? Like it was done here? ua-cam.com/video/dQfzpXF-9Kg/v-deo.html. I have a morph animation from A to B, shader effector is applied to the B Matrix with some noise animation, but the inheritance ignores the animation and morphs it only to static mesh. Viration tag works, but effector doesn't.

    Hey dude, question, im morphing a quite odd 2d shape in to a rectangle and it all works! the only thing is that the left upper spline points are going to the left bottom a the right spline points as well. how do i make it so that the spline points stay in the general area , because now it basically flips 180 degrees on the y axis when even i slide the inheritance slider, here is a video of it happening: ua-cam.com/video/B5U3iBrwypA/v-deo.html

    • @jojojos5

      +Jos Agasi also the ends of the stroke don't connect, how could i fix that?

    • @jojojos5
      @jojojos5 8 років тому

      +Jos Agasi NVM i fixed it by editing the start and the end point of the matrix

      +Jos Agasi Nice, glad you figured it out!
