Better not to get wet if possible as it’s pyrite

Can you use needles in the blue one? I just ordered that model (with the tips from PaleoTech) but love the idea/technique with the needle. How much is a grout remover if you would recommend one?

Grout remover is about £15 on eBay, but if you have ordered the Dremel 290 then that is just the same.
Needles or pins work really well for this type of pyrite bloom, good luck with your prep

@@WightFossilTours thanks so much for responding! Hoping you are able to answer 1 more question I had.. what is best to apply to a fossil once you are happy with what has been “exposed”? Is it something I can get at the hardware store or a specialty item that I need to order online? Thanks so much, it’s been fascinating so far

You're saying needles, but are those actually sewing pins in the round white container?

      Thank you for watching 🫶
I use either sewing pins or needles.
You just need to snap them down to size, they snap very easily 🌀

      Just plane tap water.
Change the water every day for a week or so to help remove salt from the fossils
