- The Keio Electric Railway Inokashira Line is a 12.7km line that connects Shibuya and Kichijoji in Tokyo.
Construction originally began with the aim of completing a ring-shaped line around the suburbs of Tokyo, but due to the outbreak of war and economic changes, the plan was never achieved, and only a short line remained. It's gone.
Since it does not go directly to the city center, there are not particularly many users, and a 5-car train is operated. The upper half of the front of this class 1000 EMU is divided into seven different colors, making passengers wonder which color the train will be next. It gives me a little pleasure.
Express trains on the Inokashira Line run the entire line in 20 minutes (the video omits stops along the way and the area around Shibuya Station, which has a tunnel structure, so it is shorter).
There are no famous tourist spots along the Inokashira Line, but there are many universities and parks, and many people ride the line throughout the day.

thanks for sharing.
Wow… when I lived in Hamadayama there were no English announcements on the train. It seemed more fun.
Over the past five years, English broadcasting has become the norm. This is because the number of foreign tourists has increased. However, since I sometimes speak Japanese, English, Korean, and Chinese, I sometimes miss my native language.
Very nice
Thank you so much.
