The same MD-11 HB-IWF that crashed in 1998 (Swissair Flight 111)

It is a DC-10, not an MD-11, there weren't any MD-11s around in 1987, as the prototype first flew in 1990, it is also not that difficult to tell DC-10s and MD-11s apart, because except being entirely different aircraft internally there are also significant external differences, with the MD-11 being 6 meters longer and having winglets, so no reason at all to confuse these 2 types of aircraft.
