No. Not happening. How does either UTSA or Texas State help the PAC get to Power Conference status?
They’re not going to get back to power conference, PAC is more focused on the best of the G5 league whoever wins this league will more than likely get the G5 invitation to the playoffs, but they 100% not going to be a power 5
@@thatrealawkwardguy I’ve been a PAC loyalist for over 50 years. There’s no way either WAZZU or The Beavs, will ever demote ourselves to G5 status. It’s only Power Conference status and nothing else. Power Conference status is all we have ever known. Power Conference is encoded in our PAC loyalist DNA. We’re not about to allow the PAC to become the Cupcake Conference of Champions.
The Pac is gonna be the defacto 4th Power anyway cause it's only gonna be 4 conferences left once all the dust settles. UTSA and possibly SMU are net positive additions. Idk about Texas St....
UTSA & Texas State to keep the I-35 Rivalry alive
Texas State looks solid this year and they are in a decent market.
