Deboer has demonstrated that urban-like sense of timing and mobility. It remains to be seen if he can establish a culture and staff that can flourish long term. Maybe he can, it just remains an unknown looking at his career path. Paul is a Gibson advocate, and it is understandable from how he has flashed. Given the current Texas roster, it is notable when a young player can demonstrate so much value. Seems like the non conf schedule is prime opportunity to get these some snaps to prepare for the rest of the season. Leads to the proverbial rebuild vs reload program dynamic sark and his staff brought to Texas. Ian's cooking with gas terminology suggests a product placement ad with a propane sponsor. His Hank Hill is showing. Good stuff. Hook em
I knew it was a popular TV game but I was shocked by the absolute dearth of coverage that ND's loss received, as if The Powers wanted to cover up this humiliation so ND's magical God-Of-NBC status was ever threatened. Hey - ND has The Contract - there is NOTHING ND can do that makes me to lose this NBC "Always On Forever n Ever" TV contract.
Harbaugh probably also saw the handwriting on the wall. The UM cupboard was going to be bare, relatively speaking. He knew there waan't much future there for the next 2-3 seasons and so he bolted for the NFL. Sherrone's left holding the proverbial bag.
TEXAS will play a lot of players to stay fresh in the heat and to gain experience. utsa doesn't HAVE a lot of players they can play. Because they can play a lot of players TEXAS' players will be GIVING THEIR ALL to show out while they have an opportunity to excel. Some trying to reach the league, some trying to reach 1st team, some trying to have some fun. It will be a great atmosphere for TEXAS fans excited to see the team LIVE in person back from the frozen north VICTORY.
I think Gibson is The Power Back. That doesn't really say a lot considering Blue The Slasher and Wisner is the semi-power semi-speed. OU's penchant to hurt opponents and UGA's follow-up game with THEIR history of hurting Texas players should mean "Everyone's gonna play - 5th stringers can be starters."
If UTSA dumps Traylor, THEY ARE FOOLS. If Traylor jumps, it's long overdue and ANY OTHER TEAM will get a good coach. Unless someone decides he's too inbred with Texas High School programs and is only good at recruiting State Of Texas talent. Uhhh... UTSA was listed on a LOT of recruit-possible-lists in every Div1 program. Even OU was battling (and easily won) against UTSA's recruiters.

@@Cbcw76 By Monday, there was video coverage but, yes, I noticed that a relatively small amount vs. Texas-Mich.

Fleeing recruits (to other programs) said UM recruiters told them, "Flee - the program will be under sanctions for a few years."
