I work on the Dresses team at Abercrombie. So glad you loved our Emerson dress! It looked great on you! PS. There are matching ones at Abercrombie kids if Julia wants to match :)
For months I've been trying to shop the dresses, the website does not load properly, so I can't see everything or make any purchases. Just an FYI, from Ottawa, Canada
Dibs sounded JUST like Christopher when she said “that is a luxury you do not have” 🤣 I don’t know why, but you can so tell they’re related ❤ thanks for your hard work on this video Rach!
I looked up videos of that House of CB dress and yours was most definitely made wrong. None of the other 4 I found had straps that small. I hope they fix it for you, it is so beautiful.
Same, from all the dresses, this red one was my favorite. :) I would wear it to a nice dinner, some event where i want to draw attention, cruise ship, dance party, theater, concerts, opera, ballet, as guest to someones bigger birthday party.. I would wear it on lots of occasions :))
Super expensive but you should try Teuta Matoshi.( The red one is trying to be Teuta but failing hard) I think that's exactly the darling whimsical vibe you wanted..and from every thing ive seen thry are worth every penny. Id kill for one but i have to live vicariously through youtubers lol
If the sizing of the House of CB dress was more accurate, I think it would have been right up there with the lemon dress!! The style and color/print looked so beautiful on you!!
I loved the lemon dress so much that I actually went to the website to order the blue…then had to stop myself since I have no use for it….but so adorable!
The green dress without the cut out actually looks like my prom dress from 1983 except I could remove the 2 bottom tiers to make a shorter dress. Love when Dibs says "Personally, as a person...."
Ahhhhh, so sad house of CB didn’t work out for you guys. I have a few from them I love. Perhaps it was just that particular style. I love that they have a choice of different cup sizes for their styles and as I’m a bigger chested girl, I didn’t think their ‘chest forward’ dresses would work but they do have enough coverage that keeps them from being obscene or too showy. I hope you get to try some of their other styles as their quality is quite lovely (although admittedly, very pricey)
@@someonedifferent198 Same here! It can be worn to the same places you would wear the hot pink one before it, your birthday, valentines, an appropriate type of wedding, anniversary, date night. It screams "love" and "romance" to me, and those occasions aren't always particularly formal, just fun, so "a lot but not formal" works great :) Not worth the sketchy customer service tho imo :c
So, you guys should do a Disney princess dress/ outfit episode. Order dresses, rompers, jumpsuits, pants units, etc the you feel would fit specific princesses. Of course, ones you'd wear, too.
That red dress at the end reminds me of a purple dress I have. The same style sleeves with the ruffled pokadot rouchy fabric. I wore it to a renaissance faire
Omg omg please you and dibs try on Disney Princess dresses. It would be so cute. Also love your video with your family they all make me happy and love how they all express emotion with there face. 😊
Ladies we had bubble dresses in the 80s and as I was looking through Zara I found the same ones. I just had to come on here and say do not do it you will laugh at yourself years later I promise you. I have one that I wore to a special occasion in the 80s and me and my daughter laugh hysterically every time we look at the picture and I thought I was killing it at the time.
I remember those dresses! What was funnier was the kids in the schools where I’d sub were wearing styles that had clearly been designed for young women being recreated for little girls.
@@ItsJustLisa I have this picture of me wearing this white one that I had wore and it is the most unflattering thing to wear honestly but you can’t win them all I guess.
I wondered if that's how it was meant to be worn but figured if that was the case, then the model would've worn it that way and Rachel would be aware. Sure was tiny for an arm hole!
Substantial is the word you were looking for when describing the heft of the fabric, especially on the lemon dress. It doesn’t necessarily mean heavy, but it does mean that the fabric is well woven or knit so as to be able to hold its shape and not be see-through. The sleeves on the bright pink and the rose dress were serious problems for opposite reasons. The arm scythe (arm hole) on the House of CB rose dress was ridiculous! It’s true that a properly sized dress or shirt has a small enough arm scythe that it is well fit and lifting your arm doesn’t make the whole garment lift up. It’s actually cheaper (and more cheaply made) when the arm scythe on a dress or top is bigger because it will fit more body types and arm sizes. However, having an arm scythe that’s too small is just as problematic! The pink dress had an arm scythe that was too big and sleeves not well designed because lifting your arms any amount meant you were in danger of exposing your nethers when the whole dress lifted. Clearly the absolute best dress, hands down, was the lemon dress. The style looked stunning on both of you, no matter what print or color you’d choose. I also loved the green one, but it definitely sat better on Dibs. (I totally get the chest issue. I wear a G cup.). That first thought that came to mind when I saw that last blue dress on Dibs was “Hello Ziva!” I don’t know if you ever got or get the show “NCIS”, but one of the characters, Ziva David, went undercover once in night club as a singer. THAT was a Ziva dress, very similar to the one the character wore and Dibs pulled it off perfectly without even knowing it. The bubble dress was cute, but as Dibs said, very age and body type specific. The red one and the blue flower one were fun too. Not sure what occasion fits the red one, but the blue one screams anything summer. Again, they sat better on Dibs.
That green dress on Dibs 👌 literal perfection. It looked so cute! Also we have sickness going on in our house too, both my kids have strep 😢 hope you all feel better soon! ❤
I got married in 2005. My bridesmaids' dresses were the exact color of the last Zara dress (the periwinkle). Main difference is my dresses were 2 pieces. The theme of my wedding was wildflowers and the color was perfect.
The blue dress is pretty but it reminds me of a negligee, the blue and white one that dibs tried on, was gorgeous on her. The lemon dress fit you perfectly.
eShakti - they make the dress to measure so you don't have sizing issues, you can customize the neckline, length, and sleeve type for most styles, and the price point isn't too bad for a custom-made dress (50 to 200 depending on the style). They are size inclusive, and all their dresses have pockets standard. Quality is great as well.
That cb dress seems to use a lot of constriction and inspiration from the past, so the arm seems may be of similar construction. In the past, arm holes were made much smaller than we are used too today. Ironically, the bigger the arm hole, the less arm movement you actually get, so old tailoring would do very small armholes.
My favorite wedding guest dress source is Baltic Born. Amazing quality with a very inclusive sizing. I’m plus size and the dresses are the same quality no matter the size. It’s affordable for a more formal dress. I got nothing but compliments at the last wedding I attended.
I absolutely lost it when Rachel lifted her arms in that hot pink/fuchsia Barbie dress, not JUST because of how short it got, but because the top half of the dress just made her neck disappear and made it look like she had giant shoulder pads and a big ol head. I cackled. Both times she did it. I took a screenshot and sent it to my sister, who also cackled. I thought that and the red dress were the worst looking of the bunch, and can't imagine where either of them would be appropriate, outside of some sort of costume. 100% just immediately thought "that's a Barbie Doll Dress" and as soon as she raised her arms, it confirmed it. The green dress, however, reminded me of a flapper dress, if it was slightly shorter/had one less tier. It would look great with a bobbed cut and headband, or a cloche, and a loooong necklace.
would love to see more dress videos!! wore a reformation dress for my close friend's wedding as a bridesmaid so i would love to see what you'd think about the brand!!! (though they're around the same price point as house of cb)
My husband has a fancy Christmas party every year (the kind of fancy where they fly people in that work in other parts of the country) and that red dress is perfect for that! If I buy it now it might arrive just in time 😂
The house of cb dress is a really weird miss. That straps and top fabric are clearly very strechy, but I can't imagine you're supposed to stretch it that far, and pull it into position 🤷♀️ in that case it should come with a manual. I have see other cb try ons and the dress are beautiful, but this fiit is very weird.
Ok the pink dress is actually so cute on both of you. Like obviously not practical and a useless waste of wardrobe space but in a still image, stunning.
Omg so funny to see how dresses fit differently per person like the "darling" lemon dress is the only one i loved on both of you but like yhe green dress was netter on dibs and the red dress more you. Fun to see the differences.
I loved the milkmaid dress, you are not the only one with shipping problems I can not get the dress shipped here to England so sad 😢 about that would have loved to have gotten it for summer
The house of cb dress was so weird! The way it fit so amazing from the waist down but fit way too small on the top makes no sense! I would love to see anyone that is busty or has anything bigger than thin, fit arms wear it. I so agree that it I’d Julia on the top and rach on the bottom 🤣🤣❤️❤️
How does one find a husband that comes with the best family??? Absolutely love the collabs with Chris’s sisters!!

That’s literally what I was going to say!
YES! The exact same vocal cadence!
You should do a version of this for bridal white dresses with Dibs! As a bride struggling to find Bach and bridal shower outfits, id eat that up!
Same!
I looked up videos of that House of CB dress and yours was most definitely made wrong. None of the other 4 I found had straps that small. I hope they fix it for you, it is so beautiful.
I would so wear the red Spanish flair dress. Probably for my wedding anniversary, romantic dinner in a caribean hotel or cruise, ect. ❤
I thought it was very beautiful ❤️

And lirika matoshi! Different vibe than Teuota but just as high quality and just as beautiful ❤
SAME 😂
Get it anyway. Wear it just because.
When I ordered mine my sleeves were ridiculously puffy it didn’t look normal puff like theirs did such a shame cause it’s so cute minus the sleeves
Oh, the one with the purple flowers! (on the website)
The red dress made me think halloween costume. Lydia Deetz marrying Beetlejuice is what I immediately thought of!
Yep and I'm here for it 😊 it's beautiful 😍
Same. Day-O!!
It was the same for me.
Came here to say the exact same thing. That’s your Halloween costume sorted l!!
That's all I could see as well!
4:44 it went from a 10 to a 100 real quick
Honestly pockets in a dress/skirts is such a power move , love it❤❤
The purpley blue dress around the 27 min mark glistens like the “how to lose a guy in 10 days” yellow dress. Absolutely gorgeous. 😳😳😳
Definitely resembles the Andie Anderson yellow dress for sure! My thoughts exactly 🥰
The green dress without the cut out actually looks like my prom dress from 1983 except I could remove the 2 bottom tiers to make a shorter dress. Love when Dibs says "Personally, as a person...."
Hi Rachel, you should do sun dresses, that would be fun

It is!! I however do love that dress though.

The lemon dress for the win!

The hot pink dress from the spite brand is giving Weird Barbie vibes while still cute
it's like oriental brocade meets 1950s without the pillbox hat...and yes, Barbie as well
That second (green) dress was made for Dibs!!!
love trying on clothes with Dibs 🥰and your editor is the best!!! we love you Rachel!
That red dress at the end reminds me of a purple dress I have. The same style sleeves with the ruffled pokadot rouchy fabric. I wore it to a renaissance faire
You’d wear the red dress to your wedding with Beetlejuice obv 😂
My mind immediately went there!😂
Personally LOVE the green pleated dress on Dibs. 😍 would be great to take on her honeymoon!
Bubble dresses are so "Late 1900s." I remember my great-grandmother making these for me when I was a kid.
In the uk we called them “puff balls” I had black ones and peach 😂

The white print spaghetti strap was great also on dibs!
I think the dress with the tiny arm area would work great as an off the shoulder dress! Maybe try that!
I wondered if that's how it was meant to be worn but figured if that was the case, then the model would've worn it that way and Rachel would be aware. Sure was tiny for an arm hole!
Neither of them were able to zip it up, there is obviously something wrong with the dress… Nobody should’ve to finagle such an expensive dress!
Substantial is the word you were looking for when describing the heft of the fabric, especially on the lemon dress. It doesn’t necessarily mean heavy, but it does mean that the fabric is well woven or knit so as to be able to hold its shape and not be see-through.

I love the Baltic born dresses! I'd love a video on them because I love some of the styles but don't have events for them!
❤️Love love the lemon dress the best 🍋🍋🍋
I wanted to buy that pink dress so bad but didn’t because of the reviews. It’s so pretty!

Red as a color looks so good on you
The Zara bubble hem dress with a pair of capri’s maybe adorable.
Find a seamstress and get them to make the Arora dress straps ribbon instead. That way, you can tie them up up or something.
The red dress with the see through sleeves would be awesome for a halloween costume if you wanted to be Lydia from Beetlejuice
I would wear the heck out of the pink sparkly dress for a summer wedding

I imagine the House of CB dress was suppose to be off the shoulder and that was why the arm holes were so small. But that’s just a guess
Weirdly on the site it is on the shoulders.
Oh that is weird!
