It shows you really need the crew audio to enjoy the Stevie shooting Gliscor moment. Because it turns out that Gliscor stole a motorbike that they used to get to first place, and then shot the tires of it, so that nobody else could do that. And Stevie accidentally shooting Gliscor was just a moment of cathartic karma.
I was wondering why Alex didn't grab that bike. Didn't see the popped tire on it. I have a sneaking suspicion that will become the default strategy now. Which would also mean the parking lot may become cluttered with unusable cars? And if you shoot the passenger side tires you may induce someone to steal it without noticing?
@@shannonkohl68 I presume there's a rule against putting a stickybomb on a fast car and blowing it up once you're finished with it and noone is around in the carpark to be indirectly killed. That's what I was thinking Alex should have done when he arrived back with the Voltic to stop anyone else using it. :)
I like the format of this race. I would suggest the race be longer, though. An interesting variant - go around twice on the track for it to be counted as a lap but you need to change vehicles at the car park every time you go through it. A 'less steal' variant, might have a transform at the entrance of the car park the second time though on a lap, the player would go on foot from the entrance of the car park to the cars.
There’s a particular race type that’s really cursed, where 2 people are in the same vehicle. One person drives, the other navigates. Having a race where all the checkpoints are scattered randomly around Los Santos would work well for it. You should give it a shot.

The added chaos of police cars was fun to watch! I really like this game mode - the element of people using guns and the police made it so even someone in last place could have a good shot at the podium even with issues. It would be really cool to see more racing videos with this sort of chaos, I think that GTA's racing entertainment strives when it's used in a silly matter; I generally prefer Forza for serious races.

Great race idea!!! It's exciting and hilarious at the same time... Everything you expected from a Failrace race. A couple of suggestion though. The race can go a couple of laps longer, and perhaps everyone have to drive the starting show vehicle at some stage of the race, like a joker lap, to even things out, and add some strategies to the race

This was great but I would also like to see more normal scavenger races/scavenger rallycross or scavenger relay races make a comeback. I've missed those races big time. I still remember how much of a novelty the first relay race (made as a deathmatch) was. GTA is the only game where a scavenger race can properly work. It would be a shame not to enjoy it some more.
I may have an idea about the police shenanigans for the first race. When police are in pursuit with a wanted level of 2 or higher, they tend to ignore minor things like someone else being in the wrong place at the wrong time and crashing into them. My guess is that Gliscor somehow managed to get three stars, and so offences such as an accidental bop of an officer, or a shunt of a police car, are less important according to their AI. Just a theory, idk if helicopters weren’t spawning due to it being a race, if not my theory is incorrect, but it’s one explanation.
Good fun... for me, way more entertaining than much of the forza stuff (don't like the new version). The race with the police was even more fun of course, random police shooting at you makes it a lot more risky.

I want to see more races like this, but I feel like the casino parking lot is the only decent parking lot. Maybe do a cross-city circuit with multiple parking lots? Casino, pier, etc., airport parking garages, etc. Could even do cross-country with the various cities, with interesting routes between them. This format has potential, issue is the spawn set is typically absolute ass. A point to point with a required number of vehicle changes could also be interesting, start at point A and end at point B with no defined route or vehicle requirements.
