My boyfriend and I had a rough day yesterday filled with people trying to ruin our relationship. He took it really hard, and I was trying to make him feel better, and ironically, a notification for this came up. This is one of his favorite songs so I sent it to him, and it helped him a lot. Thank you for making this song

I have nothing but respect for you as a singer and I've watched a lot of your amazing covers. But now, I want something different from you to mix things up; if everything you do is highly-edited, filter-perfect videos, you're just branding yourself too perfect, and in doing so, you indirectly make yourself look distant and unapproachable to your fans (the diehard fans who've been with you from the beginning). I KNOW you can do covers really well (your hello cover was the best I've heard) and you have raw talent but I want more dimension from you.
Long story short, I'd really love to hear an acoustic live, no-edit cover song that is as existential and genuine as this song. (something less about identities through love or relationships but more about life and your passion and encapsulates you as an artist). I think it'll help refresh people's interest in you and make you more "real"
(my fave example is rozzi crane's cover of I cant make you love me.)
