Quiz Show has different ending music if you're wrong, which is _kind of_ a failure sound effect, but it's not what I'm looking for. It also doesn't really have a beat. Quiz Show is weird.
Toss Boys and TB2 kinda have failure sound effects, I think? They're hidden behind the voice calls, though. They seem on-beat.
Samurai Slice, Ninja Bodyguard, and Ninja Reincarnate were _mostly_ on-beat, with some exceptions (particularly when multiple failure SFX came in a row).
The Night Walks arguably don't have failure SFX, but it _does_ have audio feedback for input failure which falls on the beat.
Tap Trial and Turbo Tap Trial only have failure SFX for the jumps.
Marcher, Bunny Hop, Cosmic Dance, and Marcher 2 feel off-beat to me, but the sound effect is...squishy enough that I wouldn't call you wrong if you disagreed.
Rap Men and Women are off beat, and it's a little off-putting, but it's not _that_ bad.
And remixes are, of course, all over the place.
I'm not sure whether this data will be useful to anyone. Maybe people making custom remixes who want to mix a failure in here or there?
It might be neat to compare this to games introduced later in the series. Did they drift towards making failure SFX off-beat more consistently, or less often, or what?
Making custom remixes with intentional failures is the Rhythm Heaven equivalent to a Mario Maker level requiring damage boosting to clear 💀
