Tumulo luha ko kay tatay na 30mins nakipag buno sa tuna para ma e angat nya yong isda.. ang tatay ko ay mangingisda din (nanghuhuli din sya ng tuna) ngayon ko lang nakita at nakakita na ganyan pala buhay ng tatay ko pag pumapalaot sya sobrang hirap pala. Di pa ako pinapanganak mangingisda na tatay ko hanggang ngayon mangingisda parin sya, 29 na ako ano ba yan bakit ako naiyak , pero hndi kumikita masyado ang mangingisda sa ganyang labanan. Laging yong naangkat ng isda ang malaki ang kinikita.. salamat sa documentary na to!

Ito ang pinaka perfect docu from GMA with ATOM napaka details at kahit pinapanood mo lang parang kasama ka na din sa kwento at dahil dito mapapamahal ka talaga sa mga marine species at maiisip mong wow ganito pala kahirap kumuha ng isda para ka lang kumita at tayo nmn ay walang kahirap hirap sa pagkain nito, its not that kasi pinaghirapan din naman natin ang pera bago mapasa kamay natin.. but its not too late pahalagahan pa rin natin ang mga mangingisda... kudos atom araullo napakagaling na documentaries

I'm taking Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, it is such an informative documentary in regard to the status of our fishery as well as its ecology 5 yrs ago. I hope that those laws and regulations implemented by our local government fulfill its goal, which is to sustain our economic demand without harming our ecosystems. thank you, GMA specially Atom Araullo I hope you'd make another documentary about this again.

I'm an expat from Canada 🇨🇦. I wonder if the government have some sort of affordable "life insurance" for small fishermen. I also wonder if somebody's advocating for them, the farmer's and fishermen feeds our nation. *Community advocacy is part of social services.

I grew up, and still live, in a coastal town (Nasugbu) and am I indeed touched by this documentary. 68 yrs old na ako pero sana e nagtuturo pa rin sa Batangas State University so I may show this inspiring docu-video to the young ones of our town so that they too may initiate collective actions to save the sea.
Sa frolicking dolphins pa lang, nahiya na ako dahil wala nman silang ginagawa sa atin except make us happy, even thrilled, but what have some of us done to them? Then there is the spectacular sardine 15:24 run to which I experience adrenaline rush.
The old fisherman struggling with the huge tuna he has caught reminds me of Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea which narrates the selfsame struggle of an old man with a tiburon.
Touching yung segment na tungkol sa mangingisdang napadpad sa dagat nang, at nakulong tuloy sa Indonesia. Sa monitor na lang niya nakita ang sanggol nila ng misis niya na iniwan sa ospital dahil sa pamamalakaya.
Samantala, nangyayari pa rin sa aming karagatan ang dynamite fishing na sumisira sa corrals.
Araullo's encounter with the feeding dugong and with the resting huge sea turtle are unforgattable sequences in this filmed narrative.

This documentary makes me very proud that I am a Filipino. Even in my travel to many countries and in my being a FilAm,. I stand very proud of our beautiful country. No winter and very vast land and rolling seas. I only wish that.more of us realize the beauty of our country and help keep it clean and green. There is no place as beautiful as the Philippines because this is our own.

In Europe, almost all of people are aware of how much important the nature where we live,
of how the our planet is breaking apart,
of how mathematically our planet will be for the next generation,
of how to respect natures and animals we are living with,
of how human is just part of nature and not superior among everyone,
of how many lives extincted after billion of evolution disappeared in just a century,
and of how many are suffering nowadays and will be the next, humans aren't an exception.
It's because there's always a nature documentary in our televisions that open our eyes from the reality,
I think the Philippines needs to air more about nature documentary of the entire world, like
National Geographic, Focus, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel ecc, and not just in the Philippines,
to know how life really works, because we are all living in the same place.🌱✌️.
True. Not every household in the Philippines can afford cable TVs or Netflix subscriptions. These kind of documentaries are only aired very late at night after all the teledramas which is sad. Our tv networks think that if they show these at peak hours, they'll lose some viewers.
Truly agree i hope GMA will cover this kind of content. They are more capable of doing it. More funds and encouragement is needed.

watching these kinds of documentary made me want to work as a conservationalist or biologist. i want to be a part of a good change. i want to help protect our oceans, environment and our wildlife, kase sayang eh, ang ganda ganda ng biodiveristy natin tapos nasisira lamang. nakakalungkot. ma apektohan din kase tayo pag nasisira ang kalikasan. i hope everybody thinks the same as me. we can always help by doing the simpliest things we can do, katulad ng proper disposal of garbage, saka pagdonate or support sa mga non-government org na nag aim sa pag-savee at protekta sa kalikasan, mahalaga din ang pag spread ng awareness sa iba. let's not be selfish people. let's respect, save and protect our environment.

Our oceans was super rich in natural resources,nalungkot ako,dahil sa mga basura at nasirang yamang dagat,it truly breaks my heart,dahil ang Paraiso ay nasira at hindi nirespect ng mga tao,from illegal fishing,dumping toxic waste and floating trash,it's really an eyesore and disappointing,sana ay magising ang mga Pilipino at pangalagaan ang malawak na karagatan ng Pilipinas for the preservation of the next generations.this is a God given gifts for all of us,alagaan natin ito.
