gonna let you in on a little secret: the developer got contracted to start teaching tactics to the US military by creating strategy style games to test their knowledge, over time they honed these training drills into the civilian market, these games were designed to teach military personnel from beginning to advanced attacking and defending tactics, including pushing the advance, importance of flanking and tactical retreats. the difficulty ramps up quickly, the idea is to use your tools at your disposal, learn how combine those tools by experimenting in the game by losing, and learning from your mistakes and then applying what you learned in real combat situations, knowing already what is proven and what doesn't work.
I will have to pick this up. I always wanted a Strategy Game with a fantasy tone on PS4. PS. This is a compliment. But you look like if Jack Black and Sean Connery were one guy. That's awesome.
Thank you for your review, sir. I already purchased this on day one (I played the original all those years ago), although yet to play it (sometimes life gets in the way). This will tide me over until Pathfinder: Kingmaker (18th August) and Wasteland 3 (28th August) drop.
@@SCREENSTARS43 Although I have slight concerns for Wasteland 3, looking at it's gameplay, that it has become too commercial (obviously Inxile need to cast their net as wide as possible for a financial success). We shall see...
First of all thanks for you time for doing this for us man! Great review, enjoyed listening to you and that’s from someone whom English is not his native language and find it difficult sometimes understand reviews from listening. I’m considering picking it up right now!!
Slitherine acquired Matrix Games in 2010.[1] Slitherine works with the US military and defense contractors to supply simulation software. The primary simulation is a professional version of the commercial game Command Modern Air & Naval Operations.[2]
Subbed, thx for the review, I too was playing GoT and this caught my eye. It reminds me of Panzer general. If you have a PC I highly recommend King Arthur 2 on steam it plays like a RPG total war game.
Thank you Screen Stars for this video, thanks for the great review. You Rate this game with 7 of 10, sorry my english isnt as good. Yout called it a solid strategy game. It is playable with controller or difficult. I want to play this game on my big tv with a atmos music system instat of a small Monitor. I wish you a nice and relaxing weekend Screen Stars. Greetings from Germany

Many thanks for watching, that's a weird combo Jack Black and Sean Connery but will take it... Been called worse that's for sure.

I'm certainly looking forward to Wasteland 3 too.
