for the car thing (I have no idea if you said you got one already live, or if another chatter said but...) if you just get a car that had it's last registration in Alberta - you don't need it inspected. Just bring the Bill of Sale, proof of insurance, and your license (Alberta License) to the registry - and you're gucci. The VIN will show it's last registration and you're set. I'm a car guy in Edmonton, so I've registered one or two cars in the past haha
