Thanks for sharing this video! I had the same idea of designing a pochade box with one base and three lids that open in the same manner as yours. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find all the parts that I need to execute this project. I love your design more, though; it has more features. I like the round cutouts for the turpentine/water container (I’m into watercolours) on the right panel and how you can move it upwards to avoid spillage. I also like the grooves for the brushes on the left panel. Very clever design!
Excellent design. Are you at liberty to share the design of the center panel, the adjustable panel holder? Particularly how the support and movable brace work? Also, what hinge did you use? It allows you to move the angle of the panel. Thanks! 😀
@@WarrenPrindle center panel is a 1/2" part of sliced box ...additional 1/2"x3" for 4mm slider (5mm bolt slut)on top, with another 1/2" x5mm guide on both sides & to complete... another 3mm Basswood on top of it. I'm using 4"x1/2"angular aluminum, 1/16"thick as fabricated canvas panel clips.😁 2pcs Constant torque hinges are used...
