Our final contestant this season is Jimena, a fashion designer from Mexico City. She has plans to upcycle old jeans into a patchwork denim coat, crop top, skirt, and boots. That's a lot of pieces for just one week! Will she finish?

I thought I was the only one that had this problem. I tried to vote for multiple people -- as a solution, but the radio button only allows one selection. The original plan had my heart beating funny. The whole look is so absolutely cute. And almost unisex. I am curious to the total number of sewing hours within that week. She whipped out so much stuff. Good stuff...like really good.

There is nothing like this on TV here although we are lucky to have the great british sewing bee 🐝 and they do have an up cycling challenge within the programme, but it would be great to see a full programme like this dedicated to it entirely.

All are so amazing but my absolute favorite is the weave skirt which is amazing!!!!!
Wow. All these amazing pieces. I need these pieces. I completely get wanting to still make the boots. I once made boots with a pair of plain black pumps and uncalled
