Just watched it again for like the 10th time...except that today (Sunday 8/30/15) I'm building a new closet shelves for my daughter and I just want to thank you very much for all the detail explanations - which now today make a whole lot of sense and makes the project look much better..this video is really awesome! Thank you Mr. Peters!!!

I tell you what I'm a beginner at this and just learned two cool things. #1 seeing your crosscut sled I figured out how I can make one. #2 the way you use your sliding miter saw. Your video taught me a lot but two really cool things...thanks.

Looks great. I love how your artistic eye meets basic cabinet making to produce something outstanding. Both carpenters and artists have a proclivity to overcomplicate things but you have the gift of seeing design with such clarity that the piece is beautiful and interesting in itself without the need for ornamentation or ostentation.

Great video Mr. Peters! Just last Sunday I went with my wife to Ikea to look at some book cases for our living room and although they are not very expensive i much rather build my own, I just wish i knew how. But I think I will give a shot and will definitely start by building a bookcase for my daughter as well. Really enjoy how you work in the molding with the design, it truly makes the project stand out. By the way, why not drill the holes for the shelves prior to putting it together? Thanks!
