When Unit is running condition, H2 purity is disturb, What is H2 purging pr maintained and how to H2 vent, which side venting is better H2 (Top) side or Co2 (bottom)side for purity achieve.
During running of Unit H2 purging to be done from CO2 filling line (Bottom) of generator it is for purging out air by H2 and purging rate must be very low 0.005 kg/cm2 /sec.
To replace air then CO2 replaced by H2, actually when Air filled in Generator we can not fill H2 as below 85% purity of H2 in air become explosive that's why co2 filled to replace air.

Nahi, actually barring gear always kept in service during filling to ensure it's healthyness but this speed not create much disturbance for mixing.

BC exhaust fan is used to exhaust gas plus vapour to atmosphere from Generator exciter end and Turbine end bearing housing.
