To get the tent to set up correctly, only peg one door first. Then insert the pole, followed by pegging the other door. Then work your way around.
The pole has multiple height adjustments, so you "can't" peg it all the way around and get the height you want correct. If you only peg one door first, then insert the pole, you can make any adjustments you want before pegging the other side. Works way better :)
Once winter Camping starts up again I'll have to give your suggestion a shot, thanks for the advice!!

Great video sir, in my experience it’s a 2 person tent with a stove if you are spending evening inside with the stove running. Based on UK use where it rains a lot so inside space is important.
Thanks for the awesome review!! Do you think I could fit 4 in there with a stove? We are used to sleeping shoulder-to-shoulder on narrower backpacking sleeping pads and I want to see if I can cut weight by getting this tent instead of a larger one. We'd also have our gear outside covered by the sled we'll pull in. Thank you!
I have only used it twice so far but it is very spacious inside and if set up right you could possibly fit 4 cots inside, it says it designed for 4-6 adults. If you're not using cots you can definitely fit 4 in it. Thanks for Watching
Have the Northgaze canvas by them. Me and the girlfriend used it 1 winter and went and bought a Tentipi Safir 9CP. Just no room in the tiger and the quality of the tent is OK and that's about it. The N Gaze zippers suck.
The Rock Fortress is a little more roomier, but you're right about the zippers.
@@TheBeardedCamper use paraffin wax on them it helps somewhat. I disliked the no snow skirts on the door area of the NorthGaze. Wouldn't be bad if the wind was from a constant direction but we all know how that works.
@@TheBeardedCamper and if you haven't yet invest in a wood stove fan. Makes 1 hell of a difference.

Yes, but I wouldn't go more than 2 cots.
