"The first years of my life I lived in Lapland, very high up North in Finland. I wrote this song remembering the deadly cold winters that felt like needles in your face and the never ending dark, dancing northern lights in the skies and again never ending light at the summer times, a truly magical place called Salla. I remember writing this song and for some reason seeing those landscapes from my childhood clearly through the eyes of an eagle. So I wanted to capture this flying emotion in this song. It is strange how the first years of your life have been carved so deep into your soul." (Juha stated that on STS page.)

You're my beloved band 🖤 🖤 🖤 Your music is the most beautifull art on this world.... True and touching. Swallow the sun will be always my number one... You're my saviour... I love you🖤🖤🖤

The coordinates are those of a town called "Salla" in North-Eastern Finland. Not sure why the band chose it as their topic, maybe they're from there? Only thing I could find about the town is that it launched a bid to hold the 2032 Summer Olympics to raise awareness for climate change and its effects on the ecosystem.
Band is from Jyväskylä, waay way south of Salla. In an interview they said that Salla (or that specific spot?) is an important place to Raivio, but didn't specify why.

TOTALLY INCREDIBLE! Unfortunately, I don't currently have access to a DVD player. If this concert was available digitally, I would purchase it, my only alternative is to wait for someone to rip it.
The title of this songs coordinates point towards a small roundabout in a small town in north eastern Finland. Not sure what the significance is but I'm sure it's something personal to them. Or possibly something tragic happened there. Who knows?

oh wow ! It sounds so great ! Its really sad and melancholic melody there. It sounds little bit like by Clouds or Anathema. But no matter. Still masterpiece and thanks to this album, maybe my mother or sister, will understand, why I am listening doom metal ! =D
Die Melodien sind großartig, der Gesang dabei ist aber absolut grenzwertig mies. Mit nem/ner richtigen Sänger*in wäre die Band zweifelsohne monumental!

The curious thing is that these melodies remind me of my childhood memories - despite living them in an urban environment ;)
Just read it there before arriving here. Love this song.
A great band, who found his unique path in the world of music.
Это так красиво! Как же я рад что есть такая группа как Swallow The Sun. Привет из России!
Juha, the master of the melodies of our time...
this has been in my playlist for two years and today is the first time im listening to it. shame
excellent !
This electric guitar tone... especially in the beginning. Along with the drums sets the whole spirit of the track. That is a masterpiece!
It's official. People who complain about the title don't know what coordinates are anymore.

Not a live music CD fan. But the recordings and mix of this are extremely accurate to live shows. On a side note the bass guitar mix is incredible

Or is it a tribute to Yes?
