Is it important to have rounded edges?
Or also possible with sharp ones

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU FALL?? DOES IT HURT WORSE THAN SNOW?? I WOULDN'T THINK THIS MATERIAL WOULD BE AS SOFT IN THAT CASE!!

I read where a few people said this stuff is hard on the skis, is there anything to this? To be honest, I don't much about the sport and am just curious as to how the material reacts to friction.

plastic will dull the edges, probobly dry out the soles aswell
