Hey Jamie , ... I have a 87 GN , had it for 22 years and put over 100,000 miles on it and its time for a make over....mostly body work and paint but after 7 years of sitting in back yard (142,000 miles on the car) ......I started in on it a week ago.....so far I have changed oil and oil filter , tranny filter and flued. What do you think about my valvesprings ??? Does it hurt the springs to sit with pressure on them ??? O and spark plugs have been hard to find.... my old ones have a small shank before the trends......the new ones that they gave me at the parts store dont have this and me and a friend both tryed to start the plug and cant get it to start ........ can u help a buick lover or anyone reading this ????
Your best bet is to check out www.turbobuick.com/threads/spring-cleaning-update.440042/ and get with some of the guys on that forum for help. The goobs at regular auto parts stores don't have a clue about these cars....they just go by what their computer tells them and that's usually wrong.
Awesome Vid! Need to pull my left side exhaust header/manifold due to the normal cracking that occurs. Any idea if I have to pull that steering assembly out to remove the header? Thanks
btchhopperou812 Thanks! There's plenty of clearance without removing any of the steering components, assuming you have stock headersand not something with really huge tubes.
Thanks Jamie, it was a stock/OEM header. Was going to replace it but ended up just hitting it with the MIG. Getting ready to replace springs(finally LOL) in the next week or two. Thanks again for the response and sorry for my delayed response.
Great video! Love when they the toy gets slapped out of the camera view haha 6:40
Yeah, I miss them being little. The one videoing is 18, 5'11, 225lb Middle Linebacker now....
Great video. Saw some heads from T/A performance that I have been eyeing for a few months now along with new value covers. Keep the vids coming.
Thanks
Your son had me cracking up. Thanks for the video.
Yeah, it's crazy, he's 18 and going to college in a month....

What’s the difference between the T-Type and the turbo-T
T-type and "turbo regal" (87) are the same. Turbo-T is technically a dif RPO for 87, still same drivetrain though.
Is this channel still active?
Not really. I keep planning to put more stuff up but life man....
I know how life can be. Seemed like it be good content.
Nice job. I like the modified rocker arm. Not the cleanest engine inside.
No doubt. 185000 miles will do that to one...
Two words. Fender. Covers.
Send them on.
