It was nerve wracking enough watching you go into the water with the dogs, fishing in those steep banks (one slip and your croc food) and even giving your back to the shoreline watching the drone coming down, but that damned bird at 18:59 really got me out of the chair, this was like watching a suspense movie.
Did not realize you have made so many videos it reminds me of the places when i used to chase the Barra back in the eighties ,although after 10 yrs or so i switched to chasing gold which is a comparible outdoor activity , chasing the big 1 lol
Hi again Dave, thanks for the support. Yah i've been making video for a long time now hahaha, Johnno and I have been fishing together for 25+ years....thats alot of photos :)
Johnno how about you select 3-5 lures for Karen to have to try and catch a Barra on.....if she does you cook dinner, if she doesn't she does...... nice to be out catching some sun though, more fun when big scales are included. Have a great northern for me at your next camp fire.

Why do people still go swimming in rivers in Australia, everyone in the world knows about the crocodiles over there. Why are they gambling with their lives?
not all rivers in Australia have Crocs that will attack you. you can safely swim in some areas if you know where, lots of these creeks have shallow areas of crystal clear water where the crocs won't be and are safe, but of course you always look first.
@@alphabogeyman7462 it isn't a gamble at all if you know what to do. Only the northern areas have crocodiles, and Only Idiots who don't know the rules get caught out doing something stupid. honestly it isn't bad at all, you just need to either of grown up here or to ask a local if you visit. you will work it out in no time where is safe and where isn't. just don't be a tourist and jump in the first body of beautiful looking water you find in the north...
@@rawdog314 so? These river systems are in the North of Western Australia, just like I said. and it still stands that it's safe if you know what you are doing and aren't stupid.
Are you kidding Australia has a huge croc problem on its hands. However they have a government like we do in the US where all the do gooders sympathizers don't want population control. I would never go to the beach or fishing on the river bank or camping. That's just not the way I want to die.
If you don't act like a dickhead and you respect the rules you will be fine, it's the 1% of wankers who don't understand the rules that get themselves in trouble. It is only the northern areas of Australia that have crocodiles, so this doesn't apply to all of Australia.
@@PositiveFishing no worries, I can see you guys are respecting the rules and not doing anything silly, some people just don't understand what they need to do to keep safe and overreact a bit. I've been to similar areas on the east coast and pretty much do what you guys do, and I know you just need to be aware and what things you can and can't do. Too beautiful a country to be so scared by it that you never get to go to these areas, just because of your overreaction to crocodiles. Plus the croc's themselves are beautiful in their own right to observe. :)
The whole idea was to save the crocs from becoming endangered so there was a law in which stops people from killing crocs without a permit. This is there land not ours respect that.
Hey i just love this!!!! But please becareful with your dogs and crocs...i dont know but these monsters can be anywhere and everywhere...why make them go into the water ??? Plz dont
It is not the videos that you post about you wonderful enjoyment of your wild country that make me apprehensive. It is the next video where I see your two dogs are now one because.... I suspect that many otherwise cautious people have lost a beloved companion because they got too comfortable or confident in their pets behavior. Please put them on a lead.

When I saw that dog on the shoreline, I just left. I'd never take an animal to a river in N. Australia.
It's ok darling, we love our dogs and look after them very well xxx
