How To Install A Korniche Roof Lantern

In this video Tom Cullingford from Rubber4roofs shows us How to Install a Korniche Roof Lantern
The tools necessary are:
Rubber Mallet
Tube of Low Modulus Silicone
Mastic Gun
Drill
Drill Bit Hex Fastener
Wire Snips
Tom then applies the silicone to the main bars that fit on the upstand
Next he assembles and fits the hip rafters, he then screws in the hex fasteners to pull the hip rafters in.
The glass is installed and after that the glazing beads are placed between each panel.
Lastly the corner pieces and outer cap fits over the corners of the roof lantern which are secured with a rubber mallet.

What a great video! So informative. Had a quick question for you. Currently trying to order on however window fitter is advising to measure internally but supplier is advising external measurements! A little lost so would appreciate your advice.
