This one goes out to everyone who fell in love with someone who only ended up hurting you over and over again. The feeling is a bit more familiar than I would like to admit, so it was really cathartic being able to write a song about this topic. Love sucks. A lot.
I do want to give a huge shoutout to ryu, not only for tuning this, but basically being the main reason this song exists. They really wanted to create a song with me in the style of their favorite artist, Loreen, and this was the result!!! I really feel like I was able to capture that early 2010's emotional EDM pop vibe really well. I will admit, it's very intimidating following up Self Proclaimed Angel, as it shot me from 1k subs all the way to 9k in less than two months (which btw holy shit thank you so much????????) BUT I had a blast making this and I hope you all love it just as much as SPA, if not more ❤️❤️❤️

I've obviously known about this song for a while but actually seeing it released with the wonderful video just absolutely floored me. The production is amazing. It's extremely reminiscent of emotional early 2000s pop and that's something we ALL need more of. It's nostalgic in the best way possible. Everyone who worked on this did amazing, especially you Katachi. Your production always blows me away. Time for me to have this on repeat for 600 years‼️💜
This song feels like it should be overlayed on a young anime fan's heartfelt AMV and that's such a hard emotion to replicate yet you did it perfectly.

One little touch I found interesting was the person in the mirror. It usually correlates with the main Solaria, but her eyes flicker open at 3:10 for just a second; the mirror has autonomy. It’s like she finally sees something she didn’t before…
