Thanks so much for the upload, those studies are such beauties, and I love the Yepes recordings aswell, they both (Williams and Yepes) have wonderful tones...
Thanks for posting this and many other "oldies but goodies." I lost quite a few of my best records to a flood a few years ago and it's great to hear these again!
mezmerizing, astonishing, hypnotic, elavating, satisfying, could listen to 12 over and over forever, tasty, delicious, tender, radiant, thoughtful, guitar............... playable, played , finger food,
I empathize with you. Williams' recording of the 20 Sor etudes was one of my favorite LPs, lost years ago in a fire. I've got another recording now by a relatively unknown guitarist. It's not bad, but just doesn't have the spirit and magic of Williams' playing.

This is great music
11 was my favorite and the only one of the difficult pieces I could play reasonably well.
11 - 0:00
12 - 1:34
13 - 4:15
NO.12第十二首特別好聽~~~~
Etude 13 starts at 4:18
Just saying...
I am playing 13
I always thought 11 was cool but silly. Can anyone tell me what Sor's objective was in teaching with this freaky little piece!?!?
to practise snaps and muting.
WHAT THE HELLS A DAMNED"SNAP"....DAMN IT!?!?! I've taken an awful lot of lesson o have never heard of a "snap" until you man!!!!
prove to me that SOR played "snaps"!!! oh shit,, giggle...
