Jang Noah? 장노아, always liked Noah in a baby name, deep meaning and has a Christian history to it, even if i'm not really religious. Also, cute sounding in korean + very universally english as well...
From your air stewardess video to your baby now❤ you came such a long way Jeanette. I enjoyed watching your videos. You are very genuine and comfortable expressing yourself❤ Your voice is very calming. Just like to listen to you talk on and on, it feels very soothing and reassuring hahaha. God bless🎉
Hi Jeanette, we are a Australia-based Singaporean couple expecting a son and also in a dilemma about citizenship; ideally we would like the kid to enjoy the best of both worlds. My two cents is to be careful about getting both Korean and Sgrean citizenships - the black and white of the latter’s policy is that a male has to serve NS to renounce the citizenship and, from a cursory search online, Korea has a similar policy too. The decision that you now make will have implications 20 years on.
My friend was born in Korea (both parents Korean), and came to Singapore at age 6/7. Now he is 18, and has gotten Singapore pr. He only has to serve Singapore’s national service, not Korea’s.
About military conscription. I remembered reading a Reddit Singapore Post on a Korean chap who came to SG at an early age to study & also is a SG PR becos his Korean parents are working in SG. So he was called up for SG NS but also for Korean NS. He asked in Reddit what he should do? The reddit SG readers told him to go to South Korean Embassy to state his case that he will only be doing Spore NS. He mentioned that he did not want to settle in South Korea but live in SG permanently as he spent his majority of his life in SG. Be VERY CAREFUL about seeking SG birth citizenship becos the SG govt is extremely strict about NS obligations here. U would have read news articles on some mixed race kid who are SG PRs who absconded from NS & are wanted by SG Immigration & later jailed for failing to do NS. A decision made by parents on getting birth certs from 2 countries have life long implications for a child who has no say in it. I strongly suggest u ask yr husband to check with South Korea Min of Defence on this status. For SG, u would know what it entails should u make yr son a SG PR & the fallout if he deos not fulfill NS obligations
That cash benefit for taking taxis while pregnant / post-partum is so cool! Would love such a benefit to be introduced in Singapore too. Was just thinking the other day how I'm going to squeeze into the peak hour train while pregnant. Being able to receive $1k a month till 11 months old is also going to be a huge life saver. Since both of you are self-employed, don't limit your possibilities on living/working in both Singapore and Korea. That's what my husband and I are working on now as I embark on my business venture so we can potentially spend an equal amount of time in Japan and Singapore in the future. As a mixed-nationality couple, it's not easy but let's gambatte! :)
My baby boy is IVF baby and we've been waiting for 8 years before his arrival.. so i lookup a christian name means God's promise came up Caleb.. btw.. i also did acupunture and it really help to make our body have a better blood flow and warm up our womb for the future baby.. 😊😊
Hi dear lyeongi.. please come out at the right time, no need to come out early or too late...hahahahahahaha...the real world is quite cold or too hot now 😂😂😂😂😂
We are Korean-Indonesian couple with a daughter. We want to have son in the future and even have prepared the name 😅 we thought Levi is a good name and it is also a Christian name. The only problem is in hangeul the name will be written 리바이 (ree-ba-ee) which doesn’t sit well for us 😞🥲😅 so Noah is going to be our second option. Still prefer Levi tho 😢

Does Hansol need to do his army in Korea or was it mentioned before? Sorry if this was mentioned!
No because he has a medical issues. So he didn't do the military service
Yes…he was categorized as a Level 5… which in Korea is the highest level for being exempted from Korean Army! He did a ligament replacement surgery!
