All around me are familiar faces Worn out places, worn out faces Bright and early for their daily races Going nowhere, going nowhere Their tears are filling up their glasses No expression, no expression Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow No tomorrow, no tomorrow And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had I find it hard to tell you 'cause I find it hard to take When people run in circles it's a very, very Mad world Mad world Mad world Mad world Children waiting for the day they feel good Happy birthday, happy birthday Made to feel the way that every child should Sit and listen, sit and listen Went to school and I was very nervous No one knew me, no one knew me Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson Look right through me, look right through me And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had I find it hard to tell you 'cause I find it hard to take When people run in circles it's a very, very Mad world Mad world Mad world Mad world And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had I find it hard to tell you 'cause I find it hard to take When people run in circles it's a very, very Mad world Mad world Enlarging your world Mad world
I agree with Mr. S below. Tears for Fears did this song the right way--it's supposed to be MANIC, not the new emo version someone made a few years ago. It's a MAD (as in crazy) world, not a sad world.
It sounds very grummy to me. I was thinking it would've sounded more lively a few notes higher. One octave higher would be too much, though. But great cover there, especially with the guitar !
What the hell does grumny mean? I don't have a clue about its meaning, but it doesn't sound nice. Do you even know this is a very exceptional experience to be a part of - even the part that is just a witness? These are just random people who get together to collaborate and create beautiful moments. It's not a symphonic Rachmoninoff or The Beatles. It's good old grass roots quality for the sake of the quality that it is. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Being an adult means being able to discern when and where to share yours. Obviously you were absent for that lesson.
@@kristieroybal4888 By grummy (apparently not a real english word, non-native speaker here), I meant to say it has lots of low notes. I then explained what might make it sound more lively for me. You seem to have had a very bad day.
Goosebumps. Greetings from Slovakia.
whisky + you guys = not lonely anymore ... thank you !!!
are you fine bro? need to talk? (2y later, but better late than never)
I think this is my favorite version of this song I''ve ever heard.
All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you 'cause I find it hard to take
When people run in circles it's a very, very
Mad world
Mad world
Mad world
Mad world
Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy birthday, happy birthday
Made to feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you 'cause I find it hard to take
When people run in circles it's a very, very
Mad world
Mad world
Mad world
Mad world
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you 'cause I find it hard to take
When people run in circles it's a very, very
Mad world
Mad world
Enlarging your world
Mad world

Belle et intéressante version, toute en sobriété, bon rythme, justesse des voix, ils ont su éviter les larmoiements habituels et ça le fait !

bella canzone che si presta a varie interpretazioni sempre toccanti . Io la preferisco più lenta.
Did you exchange a walk on part in a war for a part in a song 👍

Unfair, you've got Asians.

Just kidding. Beautifully done. Do they choose their own place in the room/choir?

@@MrSaemichlaus 8 years late but the song is intended to be gloomy and low pitched
@@MrSaemichlaus i think you meant to use a variation of glum also
