- Tour of the Keith Green grave site in Garden Valley Cemetery in Garden Valley, Texas. Also includes the Leonard Ravenhill grave site and Garden Valley Baptist Church. Keith Green was a Christian Music Pianist, Singer, and Songwriter.

I was born February 15, 1983 about seven months after the plane crash and was too young to even know anything about Keith Green or about the plane crash. One day in 1993, while in the car with my mom in Modesto, California, my mom had a cassette tape of Keith Green songs which she put in the cassette tape player to listen to. While driving around Modesto, the song "Oh Lord, You're Beautiful" was playing. She turned to me and said when she dies she wants me to play this song at her memorial service. On June 15, 2009 at the age of 50, my mom went to be with the lord. My mom's youngest sister of four sisters, my mom being the oldest, had the task of setting up the playlist of songs on her ipod. I remembered what my mom said to me back in 1993 and I asked her to include the song "Oh Lord, Your Beautiful;" she did and it brought tears to my eyes. I have Keith Green on my Pandora account and even though he died before I was born, I listen to him on my Pandora account and on UA-cam as often as I can and it is as if I have known him my entire life.

I was just 14 when he passed. I hadn’t heard of him until just tonight. And I have had some tough moments recently. Bad dreams plague my head all throughout the night. Last night I had some really awful dreams. But those dreams were trying to take me away from the Lord. I can feel the struggle inside of me. And then I saw the video with Keith as an 11-yr-old boy. Had nothing to do with the Lord. But I wanted to hear what had become of him since he had gotten a “5 year Rock & Roll contract” at such a young age.
I’ve only just heard the song you spoke of for the very first time a few minutes ago. And that is ( Praise the Lord!) why Keith Green as an 11-year-old rock ‘n’ roll hopeful came up on UA-cam in front of my face.
God is SO good!
Christ is a Living God, they are all alive, in the Heavenly's. We will all see them again, God Bless

by happenstance, I now live in a trailer park directly across the street from Green Valley golf resort....

Back in 1980 when we used casette tapes and tape recorders, i fell in love with Keith Green's songs, and i couldn't get over his dying so soon like that. I still love his songs.

I was a student at their ICT school at the time of the accident. Bittersweet, amazing time. Amazing people. I knocked on Leonard's door one afternoon while out on a walk around Garden Valley. He invited me in to talk and answer some questions that I had, while his wife, Martha, served me and another student, cookies. What a sweet time! That conversation is what got me into YWAM and missions.

I got home today from visiting their gravesites. I had a trip to Texas and combined the two. It was about a 17 hour (2 days) drive each way and worth it, even if I didn't have any other reason to drive to TX. I would like to meet Melody one day YAH willing and learn more. What brother Leonard and Keith left behind (sermons, books, songs, videoed teachings) are Holy Spirit inspired and encouraging.
God alone changed his life…☝️

Keith was raised in Christian science
i don't think he was any denomination. He's buried there because the church is across the street from where Last Days Ministries and his home was. Doesn't mean he was a member there. Melody's mother is buried in same cemetery.
@@marnie8930 Keith became a born again christian , non denominational, he hated organized religion.Keith is of Jewish heritage, was raised a Christian Scientist, but got saved.
