My Christian parents had not protected me and I felt God had abandoned me. After my Father passed, my Mother begged me to go to Church with her on Easter. I only went because she promised she'd never ask again if she didn't have to go alone this time. My brother was staying with me temporarily and had to work, so he asked if he could just play a few Christian songs while we got ready. "When I Hear the Praises Start" touched my soul. I went up for the altar call and the minister who'd just presided over my Dad's funeral rejoiced at my presence and asked what he could do for me. "I've never been baptised." He took my hand and led me to the baptismal font. I was protesting on the way. "Aren't I supposed to invite the family and..." "No, today is your day to be born again!" The whole world looked different when I turned around. My feet didn't touch the ground. People were complaining about the longer service and Easter dinner getting burned. I just smiled and nodded. The whole story of Jesus suddenly made perfect sense to me, though I'd made fun of it man times before. I spent a wonderful, healing day with my Mom but when I got home, I couldn't wait to play that song again. It's still my favorite song. I'm so thankful to be a child of God, even though I've made mistakes. ❤
In 1984, I gave my life to Christ. The first Christian album I ever bought with Keith's. To this day, "Oh Lord, You're Beautiful," still brings me to tears. Thank you, Melody, and Last Days, for continuing to do Keith's work.
I was a heroin addict for 23 years in California in the 80’s through the 90’s. I am alive and a servant of the Lord Jesus today (in 2024) because of Keith’s music and ministry. How amazing our God is that He is still using His Word through Keith. The Word became Life and will forever bare fruit.
The credit goes to you - no god was required - sounds like you grew up and quit. Many people quit using without any God involved every day - what is your evidence a God was involved! Religion is a business - and if your mission is to spread Gods word - why would any God wipe out his number one vocalist and god messenger - and his whole family!
@@jordansinger8543I am glad we agree that he was an amazing vocalist for God. And yes, it did take great effort on my part. Thank you. As the saying goes “Don’t ask God to guide you steps unless you are willing to move your feet.”
@@jordansinger8543but yes I have proof that God was the One who guided me out. I will forever hold those moments and memories in my heart to keep me strong, and like Keith, sing of His kindness. I definitely did not do anything to earn it.
I accepted the Lord in April of 1981 as a freshman in college. It was Keith’s free albums and the Last Days Ministry magazines that ministered to me throughout my young Christian life.
I had no idea who Keith green was that night in 1977 when I heard him sing at a church service. I gave my life to Jesus that night. 44 years later, I still get tears when I hear him singing. Looking forward to the day when I can embrace Keith and tell him how grateful I am that he was so faithful to what God called him to.
Me to 1977 saw him in concert and knew this man is so different and on fire for Jesus that I started a relationship over religion for Jesus. Still cry when I watch is story.
Who ever posted this, I just want to let you know, my husband and I heard the call to missions through Last Days Ministries in 1989 (7 years later, wow!) And we just have spent the last 12 years bringing the gospel to Trinidad, India, and the Philippines. Thank you Melody for being bold in bringing your story and his story to so many peoples lives to make an impact for the Kingdom of God.

@YouTubulizer I think the orig. Poster meant a feature length film with actors, like Jesus Revolution --about Greg Laurie and Chick Smith of Calvary Chapel.
Biography movies on saints who made a difference while on earth cost millions to produce and make when all expenses are calculated and unless a huge faith based studio takes on the project, it’s not going to be made!
I remember the day I went into our garage, it was 1991, and found my late husband sitting with tears rolling down his eyes, listening to Keith's testimony. I pray that they have met each other in heaven.
Born again in 1980, also radically saved, loved Keith music, and No Compromise message. Last Days Ministry also, I got to visit. WEBA Women Exploited By Abortion , I think Melody did that. I attended a meeting in the park. No Compromise, I had the book read it. Think if we believers would all live this No Compromise message, this world would be such a different place...
I'd never heard of him until now. Churches need to be doing his music. It's timeless. Anointed. Brought tears and I don't cry easily. Thank you Jesus for these lives. ❤
If you can find a copy of Keith's book "No Compromise", do read it. It's excellent. I grew up with his music among others from that era. ❤️ 😊 🌿 🙆🏻♀️ 👍🏽
I got saved in 1977 Discovered Keith music in 1979 and it radically changed my life I would weep listening to his music thank you Keith green and your passion for Jesus I pray that God would raise up a generation like you that only want Jesus
I’m 52 and gave my heart to the Lord in the 90’s and got into Keith Green’s music and his book No Compromise and loved reading of his life with Melody and others…then I lost my way after my marriage breakup in 2013 and then recently repented and recommitted to the Lord and its lovely being older having had more life experience under my belt, to appreciate Keith’s musicality and talents! Brilliant, thank you for sharing this doco!! ❤❤❤
...I cant even look at Keith Green without wanting to cry. This guy filled with the Holy Spirit has ministered to me through some serious times. Praise the Lord for Keith.
Unless a seed falls....I'm fruit of that seeds. I went to the Keith Green Memorial Concert in Glens Falls NY as an 18 yr old college student. I started my DTS in March 1983 and in a few days it will be my 40th year of service in YWAM. I met my wife in YWAM. Two of my four kids serve in YWAM, with their spouses and children. 40 years and 59 countries later, Keith, that seed, is still bearing fruit.
I am a Zambian that got saved in 1992 at 15. My early faith foundation was radically impacted by the music God brought through Keith Green's ministry. Still ministers to me 32yrs later
Keith had such a huge impact in my life when I first became a Christian back in 1984. His songs were so powerful. They continually pointed me to Jesus. Thank you for sharing his story!
It’s April 2023 and this is my first introduction to Keith Green. What a wonderful story! I’m here because of his interview with 100Huntley. I’ve been a Christian for years, but this testimony and documentary has touched me on a different level! Thank You Father, you are still using this man to reach hearts and change lives!! ♥️♥️♥️
O wow .....great ... My first introduction was when I watched the "Jesus Music" documentary.... I heard a snippet of his music on there.... Had no idea his story or anything .... Then I listened to the whole song on UA-cam.... Then UA-cam suggested video of Keith Green documentary .... What an amazing story 🙏🙏 Such a zeal for God 🙌🙌
There will only be ONE like Keith Green. His was revival music. So intense, his songs are my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! They still bring tears to my eyes to this very day. We will NEVER forget Keith Green.
Listen to an old gospel group called HARVEST. They had an intense ministry amazing and much like Keith had. You will be blessed. They are not on pandora but are on UA-cam. I was saved at a Keith Green ministry!! Blessings!
My parents turned me onto to Keith Green as a teenager. He was already gone. To this day, I still love to listen to him. I would play " So, You Wanna go Back to Egypt" for my kids when they were little!
Wow! I was a part of that generation. Born in 1944. I went the other direction and never even heard of Keith Green until today. What a wonderful man of God. I was born again in 2002 at the age of 57. The amazing grace of God. Thank you for posting this. At 78 this video had more impact on my soul than anything else save Jesus the lover of my soul!! WOW WOW WOW!!! I often wondered at David Brainerd dying at 28 and then this??? God definitely works in mysterious ways.
Wow! I too was born again in 2017, at age 57, after being struck with severe mold poisoning. I cried out to the Lord, and he left the 99 to find me, heal me, and save me. I am so thankful. Today was a snow day at work, and I just bumped into this doc. I now have a new musical artist, Keith Green, to explore, a pure and genuine man of God. Bless you. 💖
Just watched this documentary. Never heard of Keith Green until the other day when I listened to one of his songs. He has touched my heart. Bless his wife and children. Beautiful man and woman of God. 🙏💚🙏💚
Me too! I am glad I heard his name mentioned in a review by Vlad Savchuk about the new movie. Haven't seen the movie but I will be tuning into Keith Green now, for sure!!
In a about a week I will be 29 years old, I’m a stay at home mother of 2 young children, and I spend my days listening and searching for God’s truth and I am thankful that one of Keith’s short interviews was suggested in my algorithm. ❤ I am looking forward to learning more about Mr. Green!!
My dad would play the prodigal son and my siblings and I would dance around in circles to the music. I remember thinking dad was best friends with Keith green since he mentioned him so often. I don't remember a time without knowing keith greens music. When I listen to alter call it makes me remember that some people won't find out till it's too late- it provokes compassion and a deep desire to reach the lost. When I feel odd and so different than others around me, the song for Josiah pops in my head. When I am yearning for the innocence I had as a child , grace by which I stand plays in my heart. When I am convicted by my laziness , asleep in the light gets me out of bed. I was 4 years old and I had asked Jesus to forgive me and to lead me my whole life in his righteousness. A fire was started in me , and that fire still burns today. Life is hard and at times we feel as if our work is done in vain - but If I keep doing my best and pray that it is blessed, I know that Jesus will take care of the rest. He's gonna do it! I am forever grateful that God saw it fit to save a wretch like me and my brother in Christ keith green.
the god of this world is the evil fallen angel Satan the HOLY BIBLE explains and the HOLY BIBLE says there are children of GOD and there are children of Satan. GOD created people and gave people on this earth His commandments in writing on stone tablets called THE TEN COMMANDMENTS and other writings put together in a book that is called THE HOLY BIBLE. The HOLY BIBLE is a selective account of history and explains spiritual happenings also human nature. The HOLY BIBLE tells people what is righteous and what is sinful & evil. Many people choose with their own free will to do evil and some choose to openly worship the evil fallen angel Satan. Some people choose to obey the righteous commandments of GOD. The evil fallen angel Satan is so subtle and so very spiritually seductive towards our sinful flesh nature that we all have inherited from Adam and Eve many thousands of years ago. Adam and Eve inherited Satan's sinful nature when they listened to the lie of Satan and disobeyed GOD by eating the forbidden fruit. Paul in the New Testament in the HOLY BIBLE was painfully aware of this when he said the words, "I die to my flesh daily." He knew that his spirit struggled against his Satan flesh nature. Do you know why the HOLY BIBLE says in 1 Corinthians 15:50 that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of GOD ? Adam and Eve inherited the nature of Satan when they disobeyed GOD. 5 "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. 24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. -HOLY BIBLE, Romans 8:5-33 Watch this Christian video talking about the Tribulation and the "Rapture" because I would like your thoughts about it. So we'll put! I too grew up as a child listening to Keith Green. My parents had him on the stereo, along with Phil Keggy & Lamb. The Lord spoke to me deeply through Keith's Music. I remember the day he died, where I was, & how my mother & I cried for him & his family, when it was anounced on the Christian radio station. I was 12. Can't wait till I can give him and Melody a big hug in Heaven.

There’s a great podcast about Last Days Ministry and Keith Green by two women who worked closely with Keith and Melody and were godparents of their kids. The podcast is called Feet of Clay: Confessions of the Cult Sisters. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to understand more about this ministry and Keith!🙏🏼
❤ So Wonderful ❤ Keith was unique rare & a microphone for The Gospel Of Jesus Christ- I miss him! I remain playing his albums to this very day 4-18-24 •
Keith's music was so important to me as a teenager in the 70's and still is today. I was so saddened by his passing. This is a great documentary about his journey.
I 'am rewatching this lifestory of Keith Green . It is now the year 2023. I remember his life and music impacted my christian walk. Certainly it inspired me to be passionate with my faith and love for Jesus. God bless you Keith Green's ministry now through Melody Green. Until we see Keith again... as we are living in the last days! Maranatha! I hope they will make a new movie of Keith Green just like what is now showing with the movie "Jesus Revolution". It will definitely change a lot of lives for Jesus. It is around at the same time. A prayer or wish for me ... hope producers will see this.
Keith came to my church in Fort Worth Texas in the early 80's. I bought all his albums and have raised my 10 kids listening to his music. I was an intense fanatic for Jesus in the early 80's. I look forward to fellow-shipping with him in glory. Thank you Jesus for Keith Green.
yep he used my shoulder to get off stage at Jesus north west festival. I remember him to be kind and apologetic truly he just was done and wanted to go. I was 14 and star struck. lol at 14 anyone who uses you to get off stage you will be star struck. his message not that moment is why watched this entire video
I remember going to Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa to the Saturday night concerts. They were always free and an offering was taken. I didn't realize this idea began with Keith Green. As I got older and saw the music "business" from the perspective of a radio personality, I lamented on how the "ministry" of Christian music had become part of the music machine sucking people into it and turning it all into a big show. So thankful I was able to witness the Jesus movement back then. I was a baby Christian back then and Keith's music spoke to my heart.
I did not realize that two of the Greene children died in that crash. Melody lost her husband and two children. And the Smalley family also was grief-stricken. Keith Greene’s music is timeless because it comes from an open heart to Jesus. And now…are we seeing the Holy Spirit reach out to youth again! His legacy lives on.
@@jeevunvethanayagam6536 I think the new generation has a tender heart, or perhaps it’s my hope bc I am now an old dinosaur lol. My time is getting short it feels, so I am very hopeful that we baby boomers, dropping the ball, did not let things get beyond revival. Sure, I am definitely a follower of the teachings of Jesus Christ. Just asking for more of God & less of me, bc I’m a self destructed being, not beyond His use thanks to Jesus Christ. ~
Even though I never saw Keith in concert or in-person, it got my attention, as a non-Christian, that someone would take time away from his family and loved ones to bring the Gospel-For-Free to the whole world. The sense of altruism struck a chord with my idealistic nature and united in me the Holy Spirit of Truth in my heart. (1982) And then when I found out that Keith had died, I went about buying and collecting his records. I used to listen to his music and cry reading the words. Keith Green motivated me to read the Bible for myself and I later became a Chritian by professing my love for Jesus from my heart. I led my whole unsaved extended family to Christ and later have two sons who are ministers of Jesus. That is the great impact that Keith Green has had on my life. He is truly my spiritual father, meaning an example of one who modeled constant love for Jesus. "I cannot wait to get to heaven"
Keith was such a blessing & influence in my life. I had his albums , newsletter - cried because of his death , along with his 2 children & I cried for Melody & their daughter - praying often find r them over the years. I was at his memorial missing concert & dedicated my life there to ministry . Today those memories are precious to my soul of my early adult years . Bless his memory always & bless Melody & their family.🙏🏻💔
I accepted Jesus while being introduced to Keith Green music. God saved my life. He used Keith for me. I still listen to his music. But end up in tears.
Was was a telephone operator in 1988 and sneaked a Last Days magazine to my station and read an article about sexual child abuse. When i finished read it a child dialed “0” there was no 911 then and she told me that her father would get drunk and take her to his friends house and they would rape her and could I dial a number that would not appear on his phone bill to report this. Last Days magazine had an 800 number to report such crimes against children so I connected her and reassured her tears that this number would not appear on his bill. Lately I have been thinking about Melody Green that last time I saw her speak was in Washington DC when Reagan was president at an anti-abortion rally. The last two weeks I have been waking up singing Love Broke through. I was a DJ on a Contemporary Christian radio station KCNW in the 80s where I played his music on the air and I knew they loved each other very much. May God bless Melody and Rachel and whoever uploaded this. My heart is full.
I lived as a Christian those years of Keith Green. I remember his songs, the message and his News letter and I’m from Puerto Rico. I also remember praying for Melody as she asked people to do when she was about to have her child after her husband’s and two children’s death which she named Hope. I admire you Melody. We have to continue not comprising with the World but with God’s Word. Keith left a great legacy. We will see him in heaven and listen to his songs again. 🙏🏼
In 1977, My husband and I vista Christian Bookstore for the first time and Keith Greens music was playing. We were so amazed there was modern music we could enjoy. I’ll always remember that. Of course we bought the record album. Saw him singing in person at Jesus Northwest in Oregon that year too. Still remember all that music. Fav. Inspirational! Much! We played and sang his music in church.
You are blessed, sister! I went after bands like Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, The Who and was an Elton John freak at 16, saw him in 1976. I was a total rebel, left Jehovah Witnesses and my family. I stumbled on this documentary today after hearing Keith Green's name in the movie review by Vlad Savchuk. So glad I searched his name out of curiosity. I was saved by God in 2017, born again and seeking him in all ways possible. I play piano and really impressed with this unique musician and man of God, Keith Green. I love all the comments here.💖
❤ Keith is my brother, in Christ, and I miss him. We all search and the Lord draws us in. No other Christian Artist has ever brought the actual scripture into music like Keith.
I remember decades ago a friend boasting about a song from Keith Green . I never got to hear that song but after seeing The Jesus Revolution movie and being led here seemingly by the grace of God I am going to begin to listen to Keith's albums . I want to be moved as seemingly so many have by his music and his message . It appears Keith's songs are a message straight from what he believed and evidently lived out in his life . Thank you Melody for producing this documentary . I am glad I found it .
Born in 77 and only just found Keith today and my life is richer for the Lord leading me to him...leading me to Jesus, I hope he's watching in heaven and being shown how he is still spreading the gospel in 2023 via UA-cam...can't wait to see you brother in heaven. My condolences to his widow, children and friends...a loss like that never leaves you, but it's not a loss but a temporary seperation. God bless you for sharing this message🙏🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Keith was a one in a billion, shining star. He was an incredibly influential force I'm not sure we'll ever see again. As a broke 20 year old, I was one of those who benefited from his willingness to give his music away for free in the early 80s. I was thrilled to listen to his latest music recorded on cassettes that were sent to my home. His life and music have been a constant source of inspiration throughout my life.
I, like Keith Green, couldn’t get enough of Jesus, when I got saved in 1979 by visiting a small church in Connecticut. Heard the Gospel message, then the altar call,I did not care who saw me, mascara running down my cheeks like Tammy Faye, I wanted Jesus! I ran to the Altar. I felt I was at Jesus’ feet. I was changed! Forever. Thank you Lord!
I can still remember getting the news of his death. How it shocked and grieved me. I love Keith Green because he had no compromise and of course his music.
I am discovering Keith green right this minute and I can’t help but to think how much better the world would be today had he been here to give us more of Gods words through his incredible music.
I had never heard of Keith until a few weeks ago when a friend sent me a link to his song ‘Asleep in the Light’ and I was so convicted by it. Praise God for Keith’s fruitful service to the Lord
I just turned 30, and Keith has impacted my life. Men like him are truly timeless. Jesus Thank you for breaking through with your love, and for bringing people like Keith into this world.
Boy Keith Green was awesome - I ended up, as a late teen, lying face down in a blubbering wreck after digging through my dads vinyl and playing some one rainy afternoon in about 1991... I think this was the most important experience of the Love of God following repentance I have ever had 🙂 - now that's what I am talking about. I loved the old vinyl, with the booklet and the back story, and the little bible teaching bits too. As a kid we had it on a lot, so as I grew up I took a closer look and decided that if I were to follow Jesus it had to be "no compromise".
I am 56 and doing Gospel Crusades in Africa (I just got back from one in Kenya), and Keith's anointed songs were a part of my journey and my growing passion to reach the lost with our great news! Thank you, Jesus, Keith and Melody!! We will all be together very soon!
I’m only just discovering Keith’s music and legacy. What a guy. I absolutely love his storytelling and songwriting. Thankful for his wife keeping his legacy alive ❤
this brother was different. i feel like we l need him in this world today. I consider him an avant garde. My parents loved his music and told me about him. I wish I could have met him. I’ll see you in glory, brother.
I love learning more about Keith Green's life. I was a new Christian when he was. I loved his music and his passion so much and now hearing him again all these years later just blesses me so much. I love him as much now as then. His gift was amazing. One of a kind. He made you love Jesus more and want more!
Yea, hearing his music that gave scripture and applying the lyrics to regular life helped me as a new converted Christian to get the news of HOW MUCH Jesus Loves Us, and how he wants us fully committed and not double minded or lukewarm. He was an example, awesome then, and still awesome now.
I often feel bad for Christian artists who could have been great in mainstream music. But then I realize, they made their choice to be in ministry instead. I doubt Randy has any regrets.
I know he’s never ever mentioned when people talk about the early days of Christian music. He gets eclipsed by Keith, always, even though musician in his own, right
When I got saved in 1984, the music that had the most powerful impact in my life, beside worship at church, and made me cry over and over on some songs was Keith Green's albums. His anointed voice and musicality and specially the words went strait through my heart and ministered to me in such a deep spiritual level. Even now when I listen to him it's just so full of God's presence. Bless you dear Melody Green, you are such a beautiful soul in the Lord. Thank you so kindly for posting this documentary from my heart. Best blessings to you and family...From Canada, Québec
Every Sabbath I spend the day studying the bible, watching related videos, learning everything I can about Jesus. Today's Sabbath Keith Green popped up in my search. I have left the music and Hollywood movies behind and have been looking for inspirational music to listen to. Jesus led me to Keith today. All praise and glory to the King of Kings, Jesus Christ.
I was saved at 17 at Keith’s concert at Knox Berry Farm. It was the first time I had ever felt the Holy Spirit although I had been raised in church. The Lord was powerfully evident in that place and I remember I felt Him draw me to my feet at the altar call. I am so grateful for Keith’s love and determination to bring the good news to the lost!
Yes sister me too! Got saved in 1980 and seen so many changes in the church (most not good). But this video took me back to simpler times when I was on fire for the Lord. My friend and I used to sing Keith Green songs at a little coffee house in Brooklyn NY in the early 80’s. The Holy Spirit would definitely move people’s hearts. Those were the best times of my life and I need that fervor again. Thank you for that post. I needed that!!!!!
I was a born a few years after Keith Green’s passing, but my parents loved Keith Green and we were raised with this music in our house. I’ll never forget these songs. He helped inspire my love for making music in a very special way and I’m forever grateful.❤
Keith's songs fill my heart...yep I was into drugs and rock n roll..I was saved at on New Years 1978..as a babe I fell into christian music like slow train Bob Dylan...but than I discovered Keith ...now when I walk into a store playing secular music like stairway to heaven..my spirit begins to quietly sing sing create in me a clean spirit or psalms 23 and so many more..it my way of rebuking the music that once had a hold on me...I remember the day I heard of the plane crash..I cried that he was gone..but I know he music would never die bc he was singing truth the truth of the Word that never fails and will never pass away..thank you Lord bc he brought your word to us thru his music...
I don't know this came up in my feed but it blessed me. In highschool in the 90s my friend introduced me to Keith greens music and writings and they changed my life. I spent 6 years overseas and several years working in the home office. I'm going to start to share some of his music with my children. His passion for the Lord, for obedience and for the nations formed me as a teen. ♥️
I had not heard of Keith until he passed to glory. Heard his music while attending seminary and was humored by “So you want to go back to Egypt”. His music - I had stoped listening to rock after my conversion in 1974 - profoundly touched me. I still listen today and am constantly reminded of God’s gracious call to serve Jesus by serving others. Jesus put this love in my heart as Keith proclaimed.
I sure wish I had discovered Keith Green in 1974. I was derailed by Elton John, and his "social disease." As a result, I left the Jehovah Witness religion, wandered 40 years. After severe illness in 2016, I prayed, found my true Saviour, Christ Jesus in 2017. Being born again, I will tune into Keith Green songs instead, and already threw away all my Elton John albums!! Praise God, and the people he uses to find His lost sheep.💖
We went to see him at the Bronco Bowl in Ft Worth back in the 80’s i think. He ministered to us that night and to the whole packed crowd. There was an alter call and hundreds came down. He was such an inspiration to everyone. His love for people was his message just like Jesus. Jesus is the answer! God bless everyone for reading.
My first memories of hearing Keith Green's music.was as a young child in 1985. My mom would blare his music and the atmosphere of our little trailer home would radiate with joy and the presence of Jesus. I'm so grateful for Keith's ministry of worship. His music ministry has made a tremendous impact on my life. I have struggled with severe eczema since I was a young child, with years of reprieve on and off, but the only thing that has carried me through is turning my eyes on Jesus in worship and adoration of all he has done and is continuing to do in my life and the lives of others I meet who live with abandon to Jesus Christ as Keith did. Praise God!!! He is good!!!
I came to Jesus at 20 and Keith Greens music was what sticks so close to the heart through those early years. I am so sad even today 2022 that this beautiful man is not here. Bless him and his family with or Lord.
I was in 5th grade when I first heard his beautiful voice. My Dad had just gotten saved that year. He was the last person you'd expect to open his heart to Jesus. Up until then the Name God was never mentioned; unless it was used in vain. Throughout my life, I NEVER forgot the pure Joy, Peace, and Love I felt through his music. I was mocked in 5th grade because I proudly wore Jesus pins and Jesus stickers on my folders. I don't recall if I had accepted Jesus into my heart; but I'm sure I did. When I was 14, the spirit of rebellion came over me and I was going through a very tough time and actually going through a Spiritual battle as well. I felt myself pulling away from God. My testimony is long, so I'll keep it simple. I NEVER forgot Keith Green's music throughout my life of partying. The spirit of rebellion came over me around 14-15 years old. I've come back to the Lord, actually in January of 2002. I've been a backslider more than I'd like to admit. Anyways, Keith was a huge blessing for the World. Just listening to him makes me cry still.
Keith Green was instrumental in my life going into missions. I didn't have very many music cassettes in my late teens- early 20s. But I had 2 of his. I would put my stereo on full blast coming home from work and listen to him talk about being called to GO. It wasn't long before I joined YWAM.
My sister loved his music. I would probably never had heard of him. She went home in 2017 after a long battle with lymphoma, and I can remember her through his music.
Please keep seeking Him. You only have to read and then see on youtube vids about the River Euphrates drying up and what that means or trumpet sounds in various locations to realise we are so close to Jesus’ Second Coming. Please pray and read the Bible..Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you ❤ He loves you so much
Wow. I remember being a teenager and sitting around with friends listening to No Compromise when it came out. His music was everywhere all the time back then.
Awesome testimony. The Holy Spirit was working on you that day. I found Jesus in 1972 at age 25. ❤
❤❤❤

Ditto. He made me want to learn to know, Love, and serve God.
Yes had a break through.
Me to 1977 saw him in concert and knew this man is so different and on fire for Jesus that I started a relationship over religion for Jesus. Still cry when I watch is story.

Amen, amen!
I am in ministry today due to the impact Keith's music had on my life. I am forever grateful for his life.
How can I become a missionary?

We need a Keith Green movie!
❤😂🎉😊 We Absolutely Need a KEITH GREEN Movie in 2023!!!
One day
@YouTubulizer I think the orig.
It has to be done so well though
The Holy Spirit is still moving through Keith's messages through music.....Thank you Lord Jesus.....Maranatha !😇
Maranatha!!
A precious, rare and genuine Christian.
My absolute ALL TIME favorite Christian recording artist ❤
I remember the day I went into our garage, it was 1991, and found my late husband sitting with tears rolling down his eyes, listening to Keith's testimony. I pray that they have met each other in heaven.
😚
Born again in 1980, also radically saved, loved Keith music, and No Compromise message. Last Days Ministry also, I got to visit. WEBA Women Exploited By Abortion , I think Melody did that. I attended a meeting in the park. No Compromise, I had the book read it. Think if we believers would all live this No Compromise message, this world would be such a different place...
So Tragic when he died!!!
I have Red It a Long Time ago.
Praise the Lord for Keith.
amen , I agree
Me too mate, I never know if it's My spirit witnessing to the message, or guilt for the things I'm not doing.
Me too
Yes, same here.
Keith has that effect on all of us, Praise the Lord !!
Have you heard of the Feet of Clay podcast, mark?
I can't say I have.
Today I found Keith & Melody Green! To God the Glory! A beautiful story, now a part of my journey! Thank you Jesus!
As a worship leader I can't get through a Keith Green song without stepping away from the mic because my emotions get the better of me.
I am a Zambian that got saved in 1992 at 15. My early faith foundation was radically impacted by the music God brought through Keith Green's ministry. Still ministers to me 32yrs later
His music is still as powerful and anointed as ever! Truly a prophet with a song!
Yess! I totally agree! Excellent description!
My introduction as well in late May, and I feel a blessing from it as well. His works are following after him, and that’s powerful. ~
Welcome to the fan club! I think the only explanation for his ridiculous talent, is that it was simply God given.
I need this
O wow .....great ... My first introduction was when I watched the "Jesus Music" documentary.... I heard a snippet of his music on there.... Had no idea his story or anything .... Then I listened to the whole song on UA-cam.... Then UA-cam suggested video of Keith Green documentary .... What an amazing story 🙏🙏
Such a zeal for God 🙌🙌
There will only be ONE like Keith Green. His was revival music. So intense, his songs are my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! They still bring tears to my eyes to this very day. We will NEVER forget Keith Green.
Jesus is the same today, yesterday and forever!
Listen to an old gospel group called HARVEST. They had an intense ministry amazing and much like Keith had. You will be blessed. They are not on pandora but are on UA-cam. I was saved at a Keith Green ministry!! Blessings!
And his music very distinctive
Thank you for putting this together
So many memories of this time and the influence of Keith’s ministry.
Keith was one of the shinning stars of the 70s Jesus movement. See you in heaven Keith ❤
Bless you. 💖
My Dad brought Keith's tape back in the 80s. I was just a kid then. I fell in love with his songs.
Thank you for this amazing story.
Green!!
Went to high school with Keith he was one of a kind ….
I became a Christian in 1979. Keith Green’s music was a huge information to me, and millions of others. See you in heaven Keith❤️
I cried the whole time. I love Jesus. Keith's music is the best. It's all about JESUS.
Amen
the god of this world is the evil fallen angel Satan the HOLY BIBLE explains and the HOLY BIBLE says there are children of GOD and there are children of Satan.
Paul in the New Testament in the HOLY BIBLE was painfully aware of this when he said the words,
"I die to my flesh daily."
He knew that his spirit struggled against his Satan flesh nature.
Do you know why the HOLY BIBLE says in 1 Corinthians 15:50 that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of GOD ?
GOD created people and gave people on this earth His commandments in writing on stone tablets called THE TEN COMMANDMENTS and other writings put together in a book that is called THE HOLY BIBLE.
The HOLY BIBLE is a selective account of history and explains spiritual happenings also human nature.
The HOLY BIBLE tells people what is righteous and what is sinful & evil. Many people choose with their own free will to do evil and some choose to openly worship the evil fallen angel Satan.

The evil fallen angel Satan is so subtle and so very spiritually seductive towards our sinful flesh nature that we all have inherited from Adam and Eve many thousands of years ago.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
-HOLY BIBLE, Romans 8:5-33

So we'll put! I too grew up as a child listening to Keith Green. My parents had him on the stereo, along with Phil Keggy & Lamb. The Lord spoke to me deeply through Keith's Music. I remember the day he died, where I was, & how my mother & I cried for him & his family, when it was anounced on the Christian radio station. I was 12. For Me it was always Keith Green and Don Fransisco, Sydney Australia the great south land of the holy spirit 🕊
❤ So Wonderful ❤
Keith was unique rare & a microphone for The Gospel Of Jesus Christ- I miss him!
I was thinking this needs to be the next movie on how Jesus changes lives.
I had a vision pop into my mind a few days ago about a Keith Green movie. Now I'm praying about it because God can use it so powerfully. . .
But Jesus Revolution ist Not a biblical film and the actirs are Not bible believers.
So ist could Not a AIM for Keiths Opi Ion I think. No Compromise.
Me too!
I was there too! Baptized in Corona Del Mar.
Mine too. I worked for Maranatha music on the ministry side. We gave out a lot of music all over the world.
@@cynthiat6505 me too, me too!

Amen!
I think it's a continuous process. I havent noticed any revival recently.
And then when I found out that Keith had died, I went about buying and collecting his records.
Ditto, im 65 now and this seems like yesterday
What happens when you let Jesus in your life! Pure love, pure grace.
Amen man, all I can say is Amen!!!
We need more believers that desire to be a light like Keith Green. His music is so amazing and speaks right to my heart.
Indeed. And the sad this is that ALL believers are supposed to be that way. And many aren't, as you say.
There is. Thousands of my young Brothers in Christ out on the Streets right now extending the Kingdom of God and tossing seeds to the Lost HALLELUJAH!
I grew up listening to Keith's music, what a blessing!🥰😇💖
I'll always go between Keith Green and Don Fransisco.
i cant imagine there could ever be another Keith Green. one of a kind.....
I love all the comments here.💖
Was born again 1977 listening to Keith’s album, love broke through. Was changed and never the same! Jesus is Lord!
You are so blessed, sister. I needed to be born again in 1977!! Wishing I had known about Keith Green back then.
I discovered Keith in 1987 its 2017 and I still can't ever get enough of his music!
Yes, oh yes
The music....It doesn't grow old it is full off life .. that's the Holy Spirit.. alive!
I became a Christian in 1979 after my sister died. I loved Keith's music and thoroughly enjoyed this video.
My godfather Craig Smith introduced me to Keith Green and he was so much like Keith, after watching this. Craig passed away two years ago ❤
Keith Green was a one of a kind soldier, artist, and preacher for the Lord. He is missed, yet not forgotten!!!
Yes, that's our life now!
Praising God for His work in Keith's life 🙏
Keith was one of the most sincere and passionate Christians I've ever seen.
I am 56 and doing Gospel Crusades in Africa (I just got back from one in Kenya), and Keith's anointed songs were a part of my journey and my growing passion to reach the lost with our great news! Thank you, Jesus, Keith and Melody!! We will all be together very soon!
Sorry to say, I was not familiar with this beautiful person. But now I am. A person like him is 1 in a 100 million.
Randy Stonehill is so underrated.
I often feel bad for Christian artists who could have been great in mainstream music. But then I realize, they made their choice to be in ministry instead. I doubt Randy has any regrets.
Randy Stonehill is very talented musician! A definite favorite!
One of the best concerts I ever went to was Randy Stonehill , just him.ans a guitar.
I always considered him one of the very best!
I know he’s never ever mentioned when people talk about the early days of Christian music. He gets eclipsed by Keith, always, even though musician in his own, right
What a legacy for Christ! ❤
I worked with YWAM. in the 80's I used. to read the Last days ministries tracks loved it.Keith was a man who loves God.miss him.
…..so many memories of my young faith hearing all of these songs…..reminding me to go back to my first love of Jesus ❤
Love Keith Green. I have a lot of his vinyl records. Grew up listening to him in the 80s, thanks to my Dad.
So grateful for Keith and his passion for Jesus! Thank you for this documentary! God bless you!
Wow! What an absolutely inspiring life! Allllllll that in less than 28 years of life!
I was a born a few years after Keith Green’s passing, but my parents loved Keith Green and we were raised with this music in our house. I’ll never forget these songs. He helped inspire my love for making music in a very special way and I’m forever grateful.❤
I miss Keith Green, he was such an inspiration to me back in the 70's when I first got saved.
Keith Green’s music just ministered to my heart back then and still does to this day! His ministry STILL LIVES!
This is a beautiful example of what it means to seek the Lord with all your heart. God bless you all.
So grateful to the Lord to have “stumbled” into this documentary of Keith Green. Exactly what I needed to watch. Answered prayers.
My husband and I found Keith Green‘s music in about early 1977. Fabulous.
You made my lonely night 🌙 beta..I'm just like kieth
I always wondered what happened to Melody and the children. Glad they made it. Loved Keith's music, but i never found the Jesus he found.
His song was his prayers and his testimony.
