I was blessed to discover Keith Green's music and this documentary (which might be ordered on the live album available at the website: lastdaysministries.org run by his widow Melody Green) a few months after coming to Christ in 2010.
His story was one I could very much relate to and touched me deeply. I pray that it will touch someone elses life and bring them into a relationship with Jesus Christ.

I had no idea who Keith green was that night in 1977 when I heard him sing at a church service. I gave my life to Jesus that night. 44 years later, I still get tears when I hear him singing. Looking forward to the day when I can embrace Keith and tell him how grateful I am that he was so faithful to what God called him to.

Unless a seed falls....I'm fruit of that seeds. I went to the Keith Green Memorial Concert in Glens Falls NY as an 18 yr old college student. I started my DTS in March 1983 and in a few days it will be my 40th year of service in YWAM. I met my wife in YWAM. Two of my four kids serve in YWAM, with their spouses and children. 40 years and 59 countries later, Keith, that seed, is still bearing fruit.

Born again in 1980, also radically saved, loved Keith music, and No Compromise message. Last Days Ministry also, I got to visit. WEBA Women Exploited By Abortion , I think Melody did that. I attended a meeting in the park. No Compromise, I had the book read it. Think if we believers would all live this No Compromise message, this world would be such a different place...

My dad would play the prodigal son and my siblings and I would dance around in circles to the music.
I remember thinking dad was best friends with Keith green since he mentioned him so often. I don't remember a time without knowing keith greens music.
When I listen to alter call it makes me remember that some people won't find out till it's too late- it provokes compassion and a deep desire to reach the lost.
When I feel odd and so different than others around me, the song for Josiah pops in my head.
When I am yearning for the innocence I had as a child , grace by which I stand plays in my heart.
When I am convicted by my laziness , asleep in the light gets me out of bed.
I was 4 years old and I had asked Jesus to forgive me and to lead me my whole life in his righteousness.
A fire was started in me , and that fire still burns today.
Life is hard and at times we feel as if our work is done in vain - but If I keep doing my best and pray that it is blessed, I know that Jesus will take care of the rest. He's gonna do it!
I am forever grateful that God saw it fit to save a wretch like me and my brother in Christ keith green.

the god of this world is the evil fallen angel Satan the HOLY BIBLE explains and the HOLY BIBLE says there are children of GOD and there are children of Satan.
GOD created people and gave people on this earth His commandments in writing on stone tablets called THE TEN COMMANDMENTS and other writings put together in a book that is called THE HOLY BIBLE.
The HOLY BIBLE is a selective account of history and explains spiritual happenings also human nature.
The HOLY BIBLE tells people what is righteous and what is sinful & evil. Many people choose with their own free will to do evil and some choose to openly worship the evil fallen angel Satan.
Some people choose to obey the righteous commandments of GOD.
The evil fallen angel Satan is so subtle and so very spiritually seductive towards our sinful flesh nature that we all have inherited from Adam and Eve many thousands of years ago.
Adam and Eve inherited Satan's sinful nature when they listened to the lie of Satan and disobeyed GOD by eating the forbidden fruit.
Paul in the New Testament in the HOLY BIBLE was painfully aware of this when he said the words,
"I die to my flesh daily."
He knew that his spirit struggled against his Satan flesh nature.
Do you know why the HOLY BIBLE says in 1 Corinthians 15:50 that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of GOD ?
Adam and Eve inherited the nature of Satan when they disobeyed GOD.
5 "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I remember the day he died, where I was, & how my mother & I cried for him & his family, when it was anounced on the Christian radio station. I was 12. I also remember praying for Melody as she asked people to do when she was about to have her child after her husband’s and two children’s death which she named Hope. I admire you Melody. We have to continue not comprising with the World but with God’s Word. Keith left a great legacy. We will see him in heaven and listen to his songs again. 🙏🏼

My Christian parents had not protected me and I felt God had abandoned me. After my Father passed, my Mother begged me to go to Church with her on Easter. I only went because she promised she'd never ask again if she didn't have to go alone this time. My brother was staying with me temporarily and had to work, so he asked if he could just play a few Christian songs while we got ready. "When I Hear the Praises Start" touched my soul. I went up for the altar call and the minister who'd just presided over my Dad's funeral rejoiced at my presence and asked what he could do for me. "I've never been baptised." He took my hand and led me to the baptismal font. I was protesting on the way. "Aren't I supposed to invite the family and..." "No, today is your day to be born again!" The whole world looked different when I turned around. My feet didn't touch the ground. People were complaining about the longer service and Easter dinner getting burned. I just smiled and nodded. The whole story of Jesus suddenly made perfect sense to me, though I'd made fun of it man times before. I spent a wonderful, healing day with my Mom but when I got home, I couldn't wait to play that song again. It's still my favorite song. I remember going to Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa to the Saturday night concerts. They were always free and an offering was taken. I didn't realize this idea began with Keith Green. As I got older and saw the music "business" from the perspective of a radio personality, I lamented on how the "ministry" of Christian music had become part of the music machine sucking people into it and turning it all into a big show. So thankful I was able to witness the Jesus movement back then. I was a baby Christian back then and Keith's music spoke to my heart.

I think this was the most important experience of the Love of God following repentance I have ever had 🙂 - now that's what I am talking about. I loved the old vinyl, with the booklet and the back story, and the little bible teaching bits too. Even though I never saw Keith in concert or in-person, it got my attention, as a non-Christian, that someone would take time away from his family and loved ones to bring the Gospel-For-Free to the whole world. The sense of altruism struck a chord with my idealistic nature and united in me the Holy Spirit of Truth in my heart. (1982)
And then when I found out that Keith had died, I went about buying and collecting his records. I used to listen to his music and cry reading the words. Keith Green motivated me to read the Bible for myself and I later became a Chritian by professing my love for Jesus from my heart. I led my whole unsaved extended family to Christ and later have two sons who are ministers of Jesus.
That is the great impact that Keith Green has had on my life. He is truly my spiritual father, meaning an example of one who modeled constant love for Jesus. "I cannot wait to get to heaven"

Born in 77 and only just found Keith today and my life is richer for the Lord leading me to him...leading me to Jesus, I hope he's watching in heaven and being shown how he is still spreading the gospel in 2023 via UA-cam...can't wait to see you brother in heaven. My condolences to his widow, children and friends...a loss like that never leaves you, but it's not a loss but a temporary seperation. God bless you for sharing this message🙏🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

I miss Keith so much. It took me awhile before I could listen to his music without crying. I’m so glad someone put this movie out, for such a time as this. With Asbury University, the Holy Spirit moving and the movie The Jesus Revolution coming out. I’ll see you and everyone on that plane in Heaven.❤

Keith's music was inspired and passionate. I still love it to this day. Unfortunately, like many new Christians, some of his ideas were just not biblical. And he needed to learn more grace. Even so God used him. And in a similar way he uses you and me.

What a blessing this was to me today.
A life well lived with eternal purpose and fruit because he chose to please God among mere man and live every day with a zeal to be faithful in all God brought across his path.
I too was blessed and encouraged by the “ Last Days Ministries” as a teen.
Thank you, Melody, for being willing to tell your story, with both the heavenly and the hard as well as the good and the bad.
And my it continue to bear fruit for the kingdom of heaven! PTL

"ASLEEP IN THE LGHT" one of the most powerful songs Keith Green ever wrote. It convicted me 40 years ago & it convicts me today! Lord give me courage & speek through me. Lord, bring Revival, put put a fire under the Church's butt. Holy Spirit, give me Jesus' heart for the world.

My older brother is the reason that I was introduced to Keith Green. I was probably about 12 years old and to this day his music still moves me. My favorite song is “Make my life a prayer to you”. Thank you Jesus for the life and ministry of Keith and Melody Green.

I was just listening to a beautiful Keith Green song on Pandora this morning and went to look for the lyrics, came across this documentary. I never knew his story. Very moving, and explains what comes through in his music.

I got Keith's message through his music and materials from Last Days Ministries, which provided good guidance as a young Christian in faraway Nigeria (in 1990). I was in fact on the mailing list. I sincerely appreciate the efforts of all whose service took such timeless messages to farflung regions of the earth 🌎. God bless you richly. 🙏🏽

I had become a believer in 1978 without knowing about Keith Green, but found out about his music soon after. He was unique. At times his lyrics were uncharitable, but I remember identifying with them. The words in the documentary about the struggle of law and grace really resonated with me because I experienced that in his ministry. In a biography of Keith, Melody said that one of the challenges that Keith had is that he had to grow up (spiritually) in the public eye. That presents unique pressures, and nobody who has been a believer for a relatively short time has enough wisdom to deal with everything thrown at them, and especially in such an intense time. In the documentary they also didn't mention that they often got robbed by those they were trying to help in the beginning. Wisdom comes through experience, and humility through much failure. I remember where I was standing when somebody told me he had died. That was a big shock. I hope the young people of today will continue to rediscover his ministry.
