Hi, your temperature is determined by the weather. You cannot control it in settings. Probably best to test during early morning when it's slightly colder, then rest it again in the afternoon. If this still isn't working..the best way to "fix" is to disconnect the battery, wait 3 minutes and reconnect. Remove black battery cable first.
Okay, but what do the numbers mean? Does the higher number (IE power at 3) mean more or less power; is 7 TC more or less than 5? I can certainly see why the later models gave up on the numbers and used graphics!
Hi, For power, P and engine braking, EB: 1 is high, meaning lower the number higher the power output. Traction, T: higher number is better traction. Press the left T button to cycle through traction settings. Press and hold to turn off traction completely.
@@Captain_Tipsy Thanks. I’m still trying to figure out the relationship between power and traction and how the three modes (P + EB + TC) can be optimized for normal tarmac conditions.
Lower Power number is how quicker your throttle feels. 1 would be very responsive and jumpy throttle. 3 is what I like to think is an fuel efficient setting. 2 is mid range. Traction control number is how much you want your rear wheel to spin freely. For example if you turn off your traction control you can spin your rear wheel whilst holding front brake. If your Traction control is on 7 you wheels basically don't spin freely as much. I'm Probably doing a poor job explaining this. For normal Tarmac, I run 3-3-7 settings. It's "fuel efficient" compared to other riding modes. If you want more power run 1-1-6. If you want rear wheel spins lower T setting
Hi, here's the link from Amazon. You can Google the item code and perhaps find a better deal somewhere. It does a pretty good job keeping wind and rain away. Genuine Honda CRF1000L Visor Kit 08R71-MKK-D00 amzn.eu/d/hxJu2MQ
It activated automatically after installation. There's a connection port behind the main headlights. Before you attempt to install this yourself, get a quote from your local Honda dealer. The OEM kit will cost you around £500. Now, if you have some experience with tools, you can easily do it yourself. Its a Honda OEM kit. Part Number: 08V70-MJP-G50. (google this number) Just be careful not to buy just the fitting kit, make sure its the whole fog lamp kit with lights included. its around £500. Kit comes with wiring, instructions and everything you need to install this, including fog lamp driver. You will also need a drill or any other equipment to drill two holes on the soft black plastic panel by the radiator. You will need to completely remove left and right fairings, front lights casing, fuel tank, engine guards. Its a lot of work and takes time but with patience its an easy install with some experience needed. Pro tip, have multiple containers ready to sort your screws and take pictures of where they go or write them down. There are many screws and push pins. Most are similar, if not same, but some are different. Good luck, if you need help, let me know.
@@Captain_Tipsy yeah I love tour on the highway, urban with lights, and just wanted to play with a more defined gravel mode. Owell just gotta test that traction setting more
You can control Traction control on the left handlebar.

hi is it ok to drive in P3 EB3 T7 on long route? is this setting will safe for long route?
Absolutely, that's what I use on long rides. It's most fuel efficient.
How did you wire in /activate the foglamp indicator on the dash ??

What settings do you like to keep yours on for off road? We've same year and model but just curious as I'm still testing the settings.
Use gravel mode, try tour too. Use what suits your riding style. Or simply use the custom mode to hit the sweet spot
@@Captain_Tipsy yeah I love tour on the highway, urban with lights, and just wanted to play with a more defined gravel mode. Owell just gotta test that traction setting more
On gravel, traction off for fun times
Oops, not traction, I meant to say turn off Abs to have fun in gravel.
Thanks man!
