Supreme has always a been a cool logo, and not much else, even in Highschool when it was the uniform of the "cool kids", nobody really thought it looked particularly good, it was just established as the logo that reflected status (to us adolescents). Now, whenever I see someone with supreme stuff, I just pity them. Paying hundreds (if not thousands, idk) for the most fundamentally basic clothing to rep your dedication to consumerism and total lack of individuality? I'm good. It's goofy, low effort, and there's a reason hardly anyone cares anymore, we've grown up.
Hold up, when you mentioned VF corporation owning supreme, you didn't mention that vans are owned by them as well. Dickies also has a lot of heritage in skate culture. VF corporation is almost the most fitting umbrella brand for supreme to be bought over by
supreme still has rep in skating but its because the skate team is still mad respected. and the way the sponsored skaters dress in the strobeck vids is a good example of how skaters style the brand. the stuff with heavy branding keeps the brand alive with hypebeasts, the subtle branding stuff keeps the core buying

Yes that as well,
But Supreme is the one with all the weight. The one that became famous at such a rapid pace….
And the one that had the deal with LV.
