I have to do mine in a few weeks. Where my AC drip line is the water comes out white and smells like freon. So I'm doing the AC evaporator core and the heater core. This doesn't look like a fun job. I'm just curious on how many hours it took you to complete.
Yeah, REMOVE the brake light switch from the truck and put it in a frick'n pelican case! They're brittle and the aftermarket ones don't work. And even the dealer one has to be calibrated. It's not a switch, but a brake pedal position sensor. It's like $30, but a pita you don't want to mess with. It's bracket is on the steering column. It gets busted on installation. Motor City Mechanic warned me, (David Pike) but I still broke it because I just unplugged the wires- not unplug the whole thing out of the truck.
Looks like a hell of a job.
Nice work Brian. That’s one heck of a job with plenty of time and patience invested . Have a great week ahead pal!

Holy crap... Where have you been bro? I have seen any thing from you in years and years for some reason .
Lol looks like Dodge still makes crapy ac/heaters had 2006 dodge 2500 with ac issues
Not surprised. They want bank for them too. $360 for this one, and would have to ship from out of state. Nope!
Yikes, I might have a job like this in my future. Any other tips that didn’t make this cut?

Mine looked exactly the same, replaced both yesterday, now the heater is so hot I can't hold my hand in front
It's amazing how big a difference it makes 80F before, 140F after.
What year is that?
