Hey, so I disassembled my lightsaber to travel back on the plane home. My hilt came in my luggage and I carried my blade in the lightsaber sheath they give out at Galaxy’s Edge. I’m actually using the exact hilt and crystal that you’re using in the video and I’ve tried reassembling it every way possible. It still makes the force connection sound when using the crystal, and without the blade it makes the sparking sound. When I insert the blade, there’s still only the sparking sound. Any thoughts? My only idea is that the blade needs replacing... Any advice would be great!
i am having second thoughts on building one now i am going in 2 weeks and was happy to build after seeing alot of reports that said it was good but now after the land open and people started to build it i am hearing they dont like it i guess is 50/50 i am on the fance now.
Hey so I have the same red lined grip piece that you put on your saber. My grip piece is not lined up with my other parts and is slowly shifting where it likes to stay tight. Is this normal or worthy of buying new parts online?
Is there a reason why my brand new saber is staying on even the switch is turned off. I removed the blade and looked into it and could still see the kyber crystal flickering
I heard these lightsabers run on batteries. Is that true and if so where do you put them in case I would need to change them? Also what kind of batteries ... AA, AAA, etc.?
Hey, so I don’t collect black series force fx sabers, but we just found our old obi wan saber and it’s actually the first saber they ever sold like the first edition. And it has a lot of damage on the blade so if you could tell me where I could maybe replace the blade? Thanks EDIT: I just did research about forced shutting down so maybe there might still be a replacement for such an old one lol
According to a pal of mine, he went and got one ...said the metal parts are (to him at least) like the cast pot metal, like whats used to make those replica guns by the company Denix.
I love the idea behind them and I am sure the others experience of building them in the park helps a lot, but it’s really disappointing that they look exactly like the $25 dollar plastic savers you can buy at Walmart. For the price compared to other sabersmiths, they really dropped the ball quality wise.
@Kojiro Vance that can be true but it still doesnt cancel what i wrote... It stil looks like it isnt worth 200 usd... And that u can get much better fir that price...
They are still using those older chintzy ladder leds and the brightness is still same as the others that hasbro produces(black series) as well the hilts are still a bit too chubby. Plus the blade tube is still fragile, not for "dueling". I'd rather just stick with the higher end/better quality types from other makers , even if the cost is higher.
@@wwiirebel377 for dueling ? Yean100% agree. And for light up also agree. But hoe about a display piece only ? They bith look the same both metal and both same size. Hiw would u treat it as a display piece ?

How do you take the blade out? I cant figure it out and I dont want to break it
I know I’m late but what you have to do is push the blade down, twist, and pull
Awesome.
Push down, twist, then u should here a noise, then pull up
this helped so much thank you

You unscrew the bottom and need 3 AAA

Video ended a bit soon, seemed to cut you off mid-sentence.
The pieces don’t line up with each other plus they look cheap but all in all a very nice and excellent video

At this point it’s not worth spending) $215 since they just put a 1 crystal per Holicron sale ONLY 😡
it honestly doesn't look like it's worth 200 usd...
u could get a much better lightsaber for that price...
